Stayed open late, which was convenient after a meeting. Food was freshly cooked and solid. Just what you need at that hour.

Ordered the veggie set, and they actually called to check on a dietary note I'd left. That was a nice touch. The mushroom fried rice was the star though, really good.

The Rise and Shine breakfast set is a solid choice. Comes with tea or coffee, good value. Eggs and bacon were cooked just right, not greasy at all. I go for this most mornings.

Found it easily on Google Maps, and street parking was a breeze. The space is really bright and clean, with plenty of room between tables. The table service was proper and attentive, which made for a relaxed lunch.

Lovely spot tucked away near the seafront. Sat outside with my friends on a sunny evening, perfect for a catch-up. The menu had some really interesting starters to share. The wine was surprisingly affordable too, which is always a plus for a group.

The waitress was so sweet, really attentive without being overbearing. She noticed I was asking about ingredients and brought over a little card with the sourcing details for the greens. That made me feel really looked after.

The team clearly cares about the food and service. It comes across in the details, like how they explained the specials. That genuine approach made for a solid, straightforward meal.

Booked a pre-theatre lunch. The food was good and came out quickly, which is what you need when you're heading to the Royal Hippodrome. No fuss, just a solid meal.

The location is perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. Just a short walk from the hotel. I appreciated the fresh, seasonal ingredients in the salad - the greens were crisp and the dressing light. A nice, simple option before the show.

Came for the Sunday roast, and the pork was the standout. Really generous portion, and the flavour was spot on. Just a shame the gravy was a bit on the thin side for my liking.

The flavours are so authentic and balanced. The presentation is beautiful too, each plate feels considered. A spot for classic Thai cuisine.

The staff were so friendly, and they even brought a sausage for our dog. It was a really nice touch. I always appreciate when a place is thoughtful like that. The service felt genuine and not overbearing at all.

Loaded fries were solid, especially the maple chilli and cheese bacon ones. The pub's relaxed vibe is a plus. Good spot for a quick, casual meal.

Family-run spot, loads of character. It was packed on a Friday, lively buzz but you do have to lean in to chat. The wine list had a nice local red that paired surprisingly well with the rich pasta. A solid neighbourhood choice.

Popped in for lunch with a friend. The ham, egg and chips was a solid, filling plate for the price. Staff were quick, which was great as we were catching up!

The fish and chips were proper pub grub done right. Came out piping hot, the batter was crispy and the chips were chunky. Just what you want on a drizzly evening.

Got the Tavuk Shish lunch deal. The plate was absolutely massive, couldn't finish it. Wine glass was filled right up too. For what you pay, it's a proper feed.

Birthday lunch, the ribeye was perfect. Just melted. The owner and their daughter were so lovely to chat with, really made it feel special.

Lovely meal, and the vibe was just right. Not too loud, not too quiet. The lighting was soft, and the decor felt modern but cozy. A really pleasant spot to unwind.

Love the BYOB policy, just a small corkage fee. Eating surrounded by all those bookshelves felt so cosy and unique. A really nice, quiet spot for a relaxed evening.

Always a nice spot. I appreciate that the menu clearly marks the fresh, seasonal ingredients. The grilled vegetable plate was a standout - you could really taste the quality of the produce. It's a good idea to book ahead, as it gets quite busy.
