The waitress was so sweet, really attentive without being overbearing. She noticed I was asking about ingredients and brought over a little card with the sourcing details for the greens. That made me feel really looked after.

Booked a pre-theatre lunch. The food was good and came out quickly, which is what you need when you're heading to the Royal Hippodrome. No fuss, just a solid meal.

The location is perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. Just a short walk from the hotel. I appreciated the fresh, seasonal ingredients in the salad - the greens were crisp and the dressing light. A nice, simple option before the show.

Came for the Sunday roast, and the pork was the standout. Really generous portion, and the flavour was spot on. Just a shame the gravy was a bit on the thin side for my liking.

The staff were so friendly, and they even brought a sausage for our dog. It was a really nice touch. I always appreciate when a place is thoughtful like that. The service felt genuine and not overbearing at all.

Family-run spot, loads of character. It was packed on a Friday, lively buzz but you do have to lean in to chat. The wine list had a nice local red that paired surprisingly well with the rich pasta. A solid neighbourhood choice.

Popped in for lunch with a friend. The ham, egg and chips was a solid, filling plate for the price. Staff were quick, which was great as we were catching up!

Got the Tavuk Shish lunch deal. The plate was absolutely massive, couldn't finish it. Wine glass was filled right up too. For what you pay, it's a proper feed.

Lovely meal, and the vibe was just right. Not too loud, not too quiet. The lighting was soft, and the decor felt modern but cozy. A really pleasant spot to unwind.

Love the BYOB policy, just a small corkage fee. Eating surrounded by all those bookshelves felt so cosy and unique. A really nice, quiet spot for a relaxed evening.

The burger's quality is there, you can taste it in the patty. A bit pricey, but it's a solid splurge.

Perfect for a quick bite. The breakfast deal is unbeatable value. Staff are fast and friendly.

The curries are always spot on, and they give you so much! It’s our regular for takeaway now. The lamb rogan josh is my favourite – so tender and the sauce is just right.

Staff were great with my nut allergy. Checked everything twice, no fuss. Felt safe eating here.

The tapas menu is the star here. The meatballs were juicy and perfectly spiced, and the fishcakes had this lovely crispy edge. Everything just tasted so fresh.

Bottomless cocktails were fun, but the real star was the Sicilian Lemon Meringue pie. Tart, creamy, not too sweet. It paired beautifully with a glass of Moscato d'Asti I ordered. The pie's zing and the wine's slight fizz just worked.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. Finally went for the Sunday roast everyone talks about. The beef was so tender, just fell apart. Gravy was spot on. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that plate.

The kids' menu is a good deal, includes a drink. You can tell everything's cooked fresh, it just tastes better. Nice to see a place that doesn't just serve frozen nuggets.

Food was tasty, service was quick. Exactly what I was after. The place itself is a bit dated, furniture could do with a refresh. But for the price, it's a decent spot.

Lovely outdoor space, really spacious. Perfect for a relaxed drink after a walk. The sun was out, so we grabbed a table outside. Just what we needed.

A proper old-school pub, lots of space on different floors and a decent beer garden. The Guinness is spot on, poured perfectly. The staff know their stuff, especially about the ales. A solid pint in a classic setting.
