The Sunday roast beef here is the main event. Properly pink in the middle, crispy roasties, and a Yorkshire pudding that didn't sag under the gravy. That's what I come for.

Tom was super nice to us and our dog. He made sure we had everything we needed without being over the top. Just a really good vibe from the team here.

Cosy spot for a post-walk pint. My dog was welcome, which was lovely. The afternoon light through the windows just hit right. Quiet enough to properly unwind.

Been here a few times. Staff are always friendly, even when they're rushed off their feet. Quick to get your order sorted and bring drinks. Makes a difference when you just want a straightforward meal.

Decent Sunday roast, especially for Brighton prices. The place is tiny though, so it can get a bit cramped. Staff were on it, friendly and quick even when it was busy.

We popped in on a Sunday without a reservation and were seated at a lovely table. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel really relaxed. A nice, easy evening out.

We were a big group after a hike, and the staff (James, Tyler, Charlie) were so on it. They handled everything without a fuss. The food and pints were spot on, but the service really made it. No stress at all.

Stopped in on a hot afternoon for a pint. Four well-kept bitters on hand pump, plus a solid lager selection. A proper pub, busy with locals and visitors. Exactly what you want on a sunny day.

The kids' meals were surprisingly fresh - they even ate all the veggies! Great to see proper ingredients for little ones.

Been coming here for years. Joe's fish and chips are always spot on, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, mainly for the drinks. What keeps me coming back is the live music. It's always solid, whether it's a solo act or a full band. Just a reliable spot for a good pint and some tunes.

The regulars here are so friendly. They just started chatting with us at the bar, made us feel right at home. It’s that kind of easy, old-school vibe you don’t find much anymore.

The Sunday roast beef was so tender, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crisp. Portions are generous for the price.

The almond croissant was spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass that paired well with the savoury pastries.

Solid Sunday roast at the village pub. Beef was spot on, proper Yorkshire puddings too. Nice pint to go with it. Staff were sound.

Got the lamb kebabs delivered. Meat was still juicy, not dried out like some other spots. Honestly surprised it held up.

Nice spot for a pint. Had a couple of their local ales, which were spot on and didn't break the bank. The place has a good, relaxed feel to it. Decent wine options too, though I stuck with the beer.

Solid old-school pub. The open fire was a nice touch on a cold evening. Good for watching sports on the big screen. Quiz nights seem popular. Dog-friendly, which is a plus. A decent local option.

Nice spot to catch the game. The bar staff were chill about switching the screen for our match. The vibe is relaxed, not too loud, so you can actually follow the action. Good for a casual pint.

Nice spot for a relaxed afternoon with friends. Decent wine selection, and the food truck outside was a pleasant surprise.

Just stopped by for a pizza. The crust was spot on—thin and crispy. Tried a special with pineapple soaked in vanilla rum. Pretty creative, tasted good.

The tartar sauce was the star, definitely homemade. Fish and chips were fine, but that sauce made it.

Cozy spot with a proper fireplace, which was lovely on a cold evening. The wine list is decent and the vibe is relaxed. Just a nice, warm place to sit for a while.

Been coming here for years, and Karen's always the same - makes you feel right at home. That's what keeps me coming back. The drinks are a nice bonus, never feel like I'm being overcharged.

Friendly staff and a good selection of vegan dishes for the group. Makes it easy to pick a spot everyone's happy with.

Been coming here for years. The garden out back is what keeps me coming back - just a great spot for a quiet pint. Always feels the same, which is exactly what you want from a local.

The cooked breakfasts were really good. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the eggs just runny enough, and the black pudding had a nice depth to it. It was the highlight of the stay.

Drinks were top-notch, no doubt. But honestly, the prices made me pause. It's definitely a premium spot, so you're paying for that vibe. Just be ready for the bill.

Loved the patatas bravas and chorizo here. Perfect for sharing. The wine list was decent, though I wish they had a few more Spanish reds by the glass to pair with the chorizo. Still, a solid spot for tapas.
