Went here for a quick lunch with colleagues. Staff handled our group pretty well, no chaos. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a bit of a wait. Fine if you're not in a hurry.

The open kitchen gives the place a nice modern feel, not what you'd expect from a small town. I had the Josper-grilled steak and it was cooked just right. Seats were comfortable too, which I always appreciate. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing is it got a bit loud later in the evening, but that's about it.

Simple home-style cooking, portions are really generous. We had to wait for a table since it was packed, but that’s fine. The food came out hot and fresh. I’d say it’s a solid spot if you’re not in a rush. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, my back was sore by the end.

Decent vegetarian spot in Jičín. Food was pretty good, liked the fresh options. Just watch out for the by-weight pricing, it adds up faster than you'd think. Still, fine for a casual meal if you're in the area and want something lighter.

Gluten-free pasta was actually done right — firm, tasty, not an afterthought. Nice to find that. Would've liked a better wine suggestion to go with it though.

The pork knuckle was crispy on the outside, really tender inside. Portion size surprised me - could easily feed two. Waitress checked on us a few times, water never empty. Place got busy around 7pm, got a bit loud but still fine for conversation. Would come back for the svíčková, that sauce was properly done.

Lovely little place, the setting is really charming. Food was tasty too. Service was a bit all over the place though, we waited a while between courses.

Solid burger spot in the center. Patty was juicy, bun held up well. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but I'd grab one again.

Solid Czech food, decent beer selection, prices fair. Interior's cleaner and more modern than the facade hints. Good spot if you're nearby.

Nice little place just off the square. Kids corner keeps them busy while you enjoy your coffee. Desserts were good too. Been here a few times now, always consistent.
