The mixed grill was properly done — good char, well-seasoned, not dried out. They brought over a free ouzo when we sat down, which set things off nicely. Place is loud though, very much a lively taverna vibe. I'd have liked a bit more guidance on the wine list, but the food carried the evening. Solid spot if you're not after a quiet meal.

Cozy little place in Burtscheid. The pesto pasta was really good, and I liked that they had proper vegetarian options. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Owner’s friendly, made the whole thing easy. Got the cocktail too—honestly the best part. Food was solid, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Place was a bit busy but service kept up. Fine if you need a fast bite nearby.

The tapas platter was a solid deal—three generous plates for €20 that easily fed two of us. The food was flavorful and satisfying, definitely more than just a snack.

The cheeseburger and pasta were solid, and the steak came out fast—just a bit too much black pepper on it. Portion sizes felt fair for what you pay.

We stopped by for a quick dinner and grabbed two pizzas. The wood oven gives them a nice char, and the crust was pretty good. Portion size is decent for the price, I’ll give them that. It’s a small place, so don’t expect much space, but we didn’t wait long for a table. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The flan was decent and the coffee hit the spot, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for what you pay. Terrace is fine though, even with the parking lot right there.

Two drinks, two soups, three sushi rolls—€40. That felt fair for what we got. The waitress spoke perfect English, which helped a lot since my German is still shaky. Sushi was fresh, rolls held together nicely. Place was busy but not chaotic. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot right in the pedestrian zone. Pasta was solid, cooked well. Service okay, friendly enough but one waiter seemed a bit distracted. Not busy when I went, so that was good. Prices fair for the location. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The veggie schnitzel with Rahmsauce and Ofenkartoffel is my usual order here. Solid flavor, professional service. Reliable spot in Aachen.

Been coming here for years and it's still my go-to for sushi. The baked rolls are solid, especially the spicy tuna one. Not fancy at all, but the fish always tastes fresh and the staff actually remember you. Only downside is it gets pretty loud on weekends. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The all-you-can-eat works with a card system. Each round you pick sushi and tapas. Food came fresh, tasted good. Staff cleared plates fast. Solid spot for a filling meal downtown.

The vegetarian plate had grilled zucchini and a really nice herby ricotta. Fresh, not mushy. Portion was on the smaller side for the price, but I left feeling good, not heavy. Cozy room, though a bit warm near the window. Would come back for the seasonal veggie mix.

The view really is the main thing here—rolling hills everywhere you look. Food was decent, not mind-blowing, but the scenery made up for it.

The thali was decent for the price—dal, rice, a few sides, plenty to fill you up. Flavors were a bit mild though, nothing too exciting. Fine if you're hungry and don't want to spend much.

The scampi salad with fresh fruit was the highlight — such a nice twist. Seafood menu’s got some thought behind it.

Friendly service and the food came out quick. I liked that they didn't hold back on the parsley, tasted fresh. Place felt very German, simple and honest. Only thing was the seating a bit tight, but for a casual meal it was fine. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

We stopped by for dinner on a weekday. The pork knuckle was the highlight — crispy outside, tender inside. Service was quick and no fuss. They let us bring our dog in, which was a plus. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy but we didn't wait long.

Great service and even better food! The custom rijsttafel was fantastic and the staff were very accommodating with dietary restrictions.

Loved the old records and kitchen stuff everywhere. Owner actually took time to explain the dishes. Not a quick bite, but that's kinda the point.

The Mediterranean Experience menu was solid, that main course really stood out. Just don't come starving—service moves at its own pace. Bill was a bit off too, worth double-checking.

Stopped by for lunch with a few friends and honestly the food was the highlight. I had the pasta and it was cooked just right. Place was pretty busy but we got seated fast. Only tiny thing—the noise level was a bit much for chatting. Still, I'd come back for that dish again.

The chef and his wife really run the place together—you can tell. I had the tasting menu and every plate had something interesting going on. The wine list surprised me too, way more solid than I expected for a spot this size. Cozy inside, almost like eating at someone's home. Only thing: it got a bit loud once it filled up. Still, I'd come back for that lamb dish alone. 🍷

Steak salad was fresh, dressing had a good kick. Service was quick, no waiting around. Solid choice if you're in Aachen and want a decent meal without the fuss. Prices are fair for what you get. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Pizza and pasta were solid, wine was decent too. Four of us ate for about 110 euros, which felt fair. Service was friendly enough. Nothing fancy, but I'd go back.
