Called last minute, got a table without any hassle. Place got busy fast but the staff still checked in on us. The four-course dinner was solid, especially for what you pay. Maybe not the quietest spot once it fills up, but that’s on us for going late.

Decent all-you-can-eat for the price, though service slows when packed. A crisp white helped cut through the buffet heaviness.

The glass conservatory makes this place feel so much warmer than the weather outside. Open sandwiches were perfect for sharing, and that French onion soup hit the spot.

Loved the Monday quiz night—such a chill spot for students. Staff were friendly and the prices didn’t hurt. Fair for Maastricht, honestly.

The Gault Millau rating makes sense, but honestly, the portions felt a bit small for the price. Good traditional French food though, and the room is really comfortable. Just wish the plates were a bit more generous.

The steak was cooked just right, meat quality really stands out. Pricey though, especially with sides extra.

Been coming here for a while now. The view over Vrijthof never gets old, and the portions are still solid for what you pay. Service can lag when it's packed, but that's about it.

Nice lunch spot on the deck. Food was solid for what we paid. Staff kept things moving. Good for a quick bite if you're nearby.

The terrace is really lovely, especially when the sun’s out. Steak van Buuren was cooked just right. Interior’s warm too, though the chairs could be a bit more comfortable.

Stopped by for a drink on the Markt—the building really is charming, that old style. Beer list is solid, one of the better ones around here. Service was friendly, no complaints. Just wish they had a few more lighter options on the menu, but for a drink it was fine.

The horse meat stew was proper comfort food, really tender. Quiche surprised me too, fresh and not too heavy. Dark pub vibe inside, felt very local.

The interior is genuinely cozy—warm lighting, soft chairs, you can actually sit for a while without getting stiff. Had a decent lunch there, nothing fancy but the vibe carried it. Maybe a bit quiet for some, but I liked that. Wouldn't mind coming back on a slow afternoon.

Came in on crutches and they grabbed me a seat right away—that was nice. Open kitchen looked tidy, team worked smooth. Pasta was the highlight, clean flavors, well done.

The veal entrecote was solid and portions are pretty generous for the price. Only downside is seating inside is super limited, so better go early if you want a table. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

The 5-course surprise menu was a solid choice. Kitchen knows what they're doing, every plate was balanced and tasty. Wine pairing matched well too. Just be ready for a slow pace, we were there for a while.

Reasonable prices for Maastricht, especially with the riverside location. I had the lunch menu and thought the portion was decent for what you pay. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busy. Still, a solid spot if you want something easy by the water.

The truffle burger was solid—rich flavor, messy in the best way. Bitterballen crispy on the outside, hot inside. Apple cake finished it off nicely.

Stopped for a beer and a snack on the terrace. View over the canal and castle is solid. Nice spot to chill, though the snack was pretty basic.

The sour meat from Limburg was really tasty, nice and tangy. Just felt the portion could've used a bit more meat. Price was fair for what you get though. Service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed. Comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

Fun concept, food mostly good. Server was helpful, but one dish arrived raw. Decent spot overall.

We got there pretty late and they still found us a table, which I appreciated. The marinated shrimp were decent, truffle fries had a good kick to them. Honestly the seating area felt a bit cramped though, not the most comfortable for a long dinner. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. Just wish the chairs were a little more forgiving.

Food, service, and atmosphere were very good. The food had some taste and staff was warm. we liked the taco, crispy chicken. The spices and preparation were good. Price reasonable. This is a must visit restaurant.

Very good quality food. Many varieties of sushi and everything was very tasty and freshly made. Ambiance very cozy and lounge too with comfy spacious tables. Would certainly come back again.

The head chef was off that night, but the younger guy running the pass didn’t miss a beat. Every plate came out sharp, inventive, properly seasoned. I let him pick a wine pairing for the tasting menu—worked out better than I expected. Only tiny gripe: pacing got a bit slow near the end. Still, solid cooking.

Great spot for a sunset dinner. Food came out fast, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. Tried the grilled fish, decent portion but nothing extraordinary. Location is the real selling point here. Prices run a bit steep for the quality, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a one-off visit.

Decent menu with plenty of options, from sandwiches to pasta. The terrace on the little square is the best part. Food was fresh, though nothing fancy in presentation. Pretty good spot overall.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the wild pasty special—still as good as the last time I had it. Place hasn’t changed much, which I actually like. Staff recognized me, which never hurts. Only thing is it gets a bit busy around noon, but that’s kind of expected. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

Decent spot not far from the German border. Food was pretty good and prices fair. Service fine, nothing to complain about.
