The terrace is really lovely, especially when the sun’s out. Steak van Buuren was cooked just right. Interior’s warm too, though the chairs could be a bit more comfortable.

Stopped by for a drink on the Markt—the building really is charming, that old style. Beer list is solid, one of the better ones around here. Service was friendly, no complaints. Just wish they had a few more lighter options on the menu, but for a drink it was fine.

The interior is genuinely cozy—warm lighting, soft chairs, you can actually sit for a while without getting stiff. Had a decent lunch there, nothing fancy but the vibe carried it. Maybe a bit quiet for some, but I liked that. Wouldn't mind coming back on a slow afternoon.

Came in on crutches and they grabbed me a seat right away—that was nice. Open kitchen looked tidy, team worked smooth. Pasta was the highlight, clean flavors, well done.

The veal entrecote was solid and portions are pretty generous for the price. Only downside is seating inside is super limited, so better go early if you want a table. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

Reasonable prices for Maastricht, especially with the riverside location. I had the lunch menu and thought the portion was decent for what you pay. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busy. Still, a solid spot if you want something easy by the water.

The truffle burger was solid—rich flavor, messy in the best way. Bitterballen crispy on the outside, hot inside. Apple cake finished it off nicely.

Stopped for a beer and a snack on the terrace. View over the canal and castle is solid. Nice spot to chill, though the snack was pretty basic.

The sour meat from Limburg was really tasty, nice and tangy. Just felt the portion could've used a bit more meat. Price was fair for what you get though. Service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed. Comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

We got there pretty late and they still found us a table, which I appreciated. The marinated shrimp were decent, truffle fries had a good kick to them. Honestly the seating area felt a bit cramped though, not the most comfortable for a long dinner. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. Just wish the chairs were a little more forgiving.

Great spot for a sunset dinner. Food came out fast, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. Tried the grilled fish, decent portion but nothing extraordinary. Location is the real selling point here. Prices run a bit steep for the quality, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a one-off visit.

Decent menu with plenty of options, from sandwiches to pasta. The terrace on the little square is the best part. Food was fresh, though nothing fancy in presentation. Pretty good spot overall.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the wild pasty special—still as good as the last time I had it. Place hasn’t changed much, which I actually like. Staff recognized me, which never hurts. Only thing is it gets a bit busy around noon, but that’s kind of expected. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast — the simit was fresh, still warm, and the omelette had a nice fluffy texture. Staff were friendly without hovering. Place is small but fine for a casual bite. Just wish they had a bit more seating, but I’d come back for that simit alone.

We had dinner here with some colleagues and the river view really is something. Service was friendly without being pushy, which I appreciated. Food came out looking nice and tasted good too. Only small thing, it got a bit busy later in the evening so the staff seemed stretched. But overall a comfortable spot to just sit and chat.

Posh Corn Eggs with avocado and bacon hit the spot—ordered it three days running. Nice they still made me scrambled eggs after the cutoff.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk along the river. The foie gras was really good, and the rosé cremant hit the spot. Portion sizes are decent for the price, which is always a plus. Service was friendly, didn't rush us at all. It's a bit on the pricier side but you're paying for the location. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice place for a quick coffee. The flat white was well made and the staff seemed friendly. Space is pretty tight though, so I'd grab it to go.

The zuurvlees was proper tasty and the service stayed attentive without hovering. Warm spot for a drink and a bite. Solid enough for a casual night out.

Pancakes were solid—good texture, not too heavy. Tried the vegan one, actually held up fine. Place was busy but staff stayed chill. Prices fair for what you get. Only thing: gets loud when it fills up. Fine for a quick bite, not for a long chat.

Nice little spot near the centre. Got a sandwich to go, bread was fresh and fillings tasted homemade. Staff were friendly enough. Decent price for what you get.

Loved the loungers outside — perfect for a lazy drink when the sun’s out. Menu looked good on paper, though our food took a while to come. Not mad about it, just something to keep in mind if you’re starving. I’d still go back for the vibe alone.

The French onion soup was the standout. Rich, deep flavor, proper amount of cheese. Rest of the meal was decent, nothing wrong with it. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. I'd come back for that soup alone.

We ate here because it was part of the hotel, so no need to go anywhere else. Food was decent, well-prepared. Service okay, though we did have to wait a bit for someone to come by. The seating was comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day. Fine for a relaxed meal without any hassle.

Staff was very friendly and alert. We ate oeysters as starters, very delicious, main course Was fish of the day, excellent cooked and served! Great food at great price

Service was super friendly and they really made sure we had everything we needed. Food came out nicely presented too. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

We had a birthday dinner here with 20 people and honestly, the setup went smooth. The rijsttafel was solid, plenty of food for everyone. I’m usually picky about portion sizes at group dinners, but this one didn’t disappoint. Only thing—service got a bit slow later in the evening, but the food made up for it.
