The set menu for two was huge, honestly could've fed three of us! We ended up taking some home. Great for sharing if you're really hungry.

Lovely spot for a village pub. The lamb burger was spot on, and the cheese chips were a nice touch. My steak came with a decent red wine suggestion that really worked. Kids ate well too. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the location.

The bread with the soup was the real standout. Really good crust, soft inside, perfect for dipping. Service was fine, atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I'd go back just for that bread.

Came by with my dog on a hot day. The staff brought out a big bowl of icy water for him without me even asking. Really thoughtful touch. Saw the food on other tables, looked good. Quick, friendly spot.

Been coming here for years, and their curry is still the best in town. Always packed, but they never rush you.

The mussels here are the real deal. Plump, swimming in a garlicky white wine broth that's perfect for dipping the frites. The veal cutlet is also spot on - juicy, with a crisp, golden breading. Had the French onion soup once and it was a bit salty, but when they get it right, the food is seriously good.

Great value lunch, huge portions. The food was tasty and the service was quick. Lovely, calm spot with those marina views.

Had a really nice Sunday lunch. The food was cooked beautifully, full of flavour, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, which made for a very relaxed meal.

I dined four times at this restaurant, including two breakfasts and I thought the staff were excellent on each occasion. The food was good and I enjoyed every visit. The menu is a little limited in the evening but I enjoyed all meals.

Came by early with my son, and it’s a good thing we did—the place was packed by 6. My beef rib was spot on, cooked just right. Portion was generous for the price, no complaints there. A solid choice if you’re after a proper meal without the fuss.

The full English breakfast was lovely. The eggs and beans were spot on. I really appreciate that they serve everything on hot plates – it makes such a difference, keeping everything warm right to the last bite. A very comfortable and thoughtful touch.

Cosy spot with a proper log fire, which was a lifesaver last night. The drinks list is decent, had a lovely local cider. Just the right vibe for a chilled catch-up with mates, not too loud.

The pizza was spot on. The crust had that lovely chewy texture you only get from a proper wood-fired oven. Toppings tasted really fresh. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Decent quick lunch spot. Menu had some interesting options, went with the special. Portion was just right for a midday bite, and the plate looked good. Got me in and out fast.

The fish and chips was a generous portion, perfectly crisp. Went for a pint of their house lager to cut through the richness, which worked a treat. Service was spot-on, no complaints there. The carbonara was decent, but the fish was the star.

Love the cosy vibe here, especially the soft lighting from those vintage lamps. Perfect for a quiet dinner. The steak was cooked just right, really tender. A bit on the pricy side, but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Service was attentive and the food was good. Made for a relaxed evening.

Met up with some mates for a lazy breakfast. The vibe was nice and chilled. I went for the loaded cinnamon bun with mascarpone and berries. It was super sweet, almost too much, but really tasty. Bit confusing though - the price for it on the menu didn't seem to match the bill.

Popped in without a booking and got a table straight away. The pizzas were fresh and tasty, but the wine list was a bit limited. Had a decent red with the pepperoni, though.

The portions are huge, honestly. We ended up with two doggy bags to take home. Food was solid, no complaints there. Just wish they had nicer containers for the leftovers, the flimsy ones leaked a bit.

The vegan lime curry was so good! Shared it with my kid and it was more than enough. They asked how spicy we wanted it, which was a nice touch.

Decent takeaway. The sweet and sour chicken was pretty good, and the fried duck with mushrooms was fine. The place is spotlessly clean, which is a plus. Staff were helpful and spoke English.
