The Victoria sponge cake here is a proper homemade slice, really generous. That’s the one to get. The rest was just okay, but that cake made it worth stopping by.

Been coming here for years, and that evening vibe is what keeps me coming back. After a long day, it's the perfect spot to just sit with a drink and decompress. Always feels like a little escape.

This is my new lunch spot. The baps are seriously good – fluffy, warm, and so filling. The doorstep toast is a proper treat too. Staff are always lovely.

Popped in for a quick bite. The almond croissant was the star – still warm, with a generous filling and that perfect flaky crunch. Just what I needed with a large tea. The rest is pretty standard chain fare, but that croissant hit the spot.

A lovely, peaceful spot inside a church. The indoor seating is so comfortable, with really cushioned chairs that make it easy to settle in for a while. Had a good flat white and a slice of cake. Just a nice, quiet place for a coffee.

A power cut during our meal! The staff were calm and kept things going with candles. It was a bit of an adventure, honestly. The food still arrived, and I appreciated that my salad felt fresh despite the flickering light.

Lovely space at the back, very relaxing. I was really impressed by the freshness of the ingredients in their cakes. You could tell everything was made that day. The bakery selection looked so good, it was hard to choose just one!

Basic motel, clean and functional. Host is attentive and works hard to ensure you have what you need.

The Celebration meal for two was good, solid Chinese food. Service was efficient and the waiter was pleasant.

The takeaway portions are generous for the price. I got the chicken tikka masala and there was enough for two meals easily. Staff were quick and friendly. Good spot if you're after something filling without a big spend.

First time here and the pistachio cruffin was a total surprise. So flaky and the filling wasn't too sweet. They seem to switch things up often, which I like. I'll be back to see what's new next week.

Service was really friendly, they made us feel welcome right away. The food tasted fresh, and my cup of tea was spot on. Nice, clean spot with some good background tunes. 👍

Service was prompt and attentive. They accommodated a dairy-free request for the sundae without issue. Portions are definitely generous for the price. Good spot for a straightforward meal.

The new coffee lounge at the back is a nice spot. Got the 'Chess board' platter. Good for sharing, decent amount for the price.

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was packed. They stop serving coffee half an hour before closing, so get your order in early.

Nice spot when it's raining. The vegan cake had a really interesting texture, almost like marshmallow.

Been coming here for years. Their cocktails are always spot on, never had a bad one. That's what keeps me coming back. The staff are lovely too, makes it a nice place to unwind.

Hired out the bar for a private do. The space itself was spot on for our group size. Everything flowed well on the night. Ed and the team were really helpful sorting the planning beforehand, made the whole thing straightforward.

The vibe here is just right for a casual dinner—cozy and buzzing with energy. We had a great time just chatting over our plates. The music was a bit loud for my taste, but it didn't ruin the night.

Lovely team, and the place is spotless. The wine list is impressive, had a really nice glass of red. Atmosphere was just right for a relaxed evening.

The special menu was the move. The scallop starter was spot on, and the lamb main course was cooked just right. Finished with a glass of Sauternes that paired perfectly with the dessert. Solid three-course meal.

Booked a private wine tasting with Tom. He was friendly, and the selection was interesting. Staff knew their stuff. Ended up staying longer than planned.

The Guinness here is spot on. It's got that perfect creamy head and the deep, roasty flavour you want. They pour it properly. The rest of the drinks selection is solid, but that's the one I keep coming back for.

The staff were really chatty and attentive throughout the meal. They checked in just the right amount, which made the whole thing feel relaxed and easy.

A lovely spot. The food was spot on, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The whole place just felt relaxed, which was exactly what we needed. A bit on the pricier side, but you can tell they care about what they're doing.
