Love how bright and airy this place feels. It's a nice spot for a casual lunch. Gets a bit loud when it's packed, but that's just the energy of a popular spot.

The barbacoa was really good, and the tortillas were fresh. The booths were comfortable, which made for a relaxed meal.

Maria Rosario was our waitress for breakfast. She spoke Spanish, which was a huge help since my parents don't speak much English. Made ordering so much easier for them. She checked on us a few times without being overbearing. Really appreciated that.

Loved the beer selection here! They had so many local and craft options on tap. The staff was super friendly and even let me try a couple samples before I decided.

The mushroom and fried avocado tacos were really good. The salsa verde they serve with them is great. I've never seen those options anywhere else. Horchata was a nice pairing.

The guacamole was a little bland, but I really liked the patio seating on South Lamar. It's a nice, quiet spot to enjoy a veggie burger.

Been coming here for years, and the shaded picnic tables are still my favorite thing. Perfect spot to unwind with a beer after work. The food trucks rotate, but that relaxed vibe never changes.

The counter seat is the move here. You get the full old-school diner energy—the sizzle from the grill, the friendly banter with the staff. It’s loud and packed, but that’s part of the vibe. Felt like stepping back in time for a minute.

I've been ordering their weekly meal kits for a while now. Always pick a new dish to try, and haven't had a miss yet. The ingredients feel really fresh. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but on those crazy work-from-home days, it's a total lifesaver.

The egg and bean taco with avocado sauce was pretty good, and the tortilla soup was decent. It's solid, homestyle cooking and the prices are fair. Felt like a nice, simple lunch.

That chocolate cake was something else. Rich and fudgy, but not heavy at all. Honestly, might be the best slice I've found in Austin so far.

I'm not vegan, but I had to try their breakfast tacos. Honestly, they taste just like the real deal. The flavors were spot on and actually really satisfying. I'd get them again.

The carne guisada in the breakfast tacos was tender and flavorful. The tortillas had that great homemade texture. I just wish the fillings were a bit more generous. Paired nicely with a simple michelada, though.

A solid spot to get some work done. Plenty of outlets and decent coffee. The food selection is fine, though the pastries were a bit dry.

The Asian grain bowl was solid, but the extra tofu portion for the price felt a bit small. The sweet potato could've been cooked a little longer.

Cozy patio is a nice escape from South 1st. Grabbed a coffee and a slice of their lemon pound cake. The cake was moist, but the coffee was a touch bitter for my taste. Still, a solid spot for a quiet break.

Their horchata is the real deal. Always perfectly chilled, creamy, and you can tell it's made from scratch. It's the first thing I order now.

Our server was so nice and gave us great suggestions! The spinach salad with salmon was fresh and tasty. My friend loved her steak sandwich - cooked just right. Perfect spot for a casual lunch with friends.

Been coming here for years. The salsa's got this unique flavor I can't find anywhere else. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

The retro diner vibe is spot on. Feels like stepping into a cozy, well-kept time capsule.

The chicken and waffles are a solid 10. Perfectly crispy chicken, waffles were fluffy. Server was super nice. Loved watching the cats roam the patio, it was a chill spot.

The furikake fries are a must-order – perfectly crispy and seasoned. The Hong Kong waffle dessert is also a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Been coming here for years. The broth in their pho is always so rich and flavorful, never disappoints. That's what keeps me coming back. Portions are generous too.

I really appreciate how clean everything is here. You can tell they care about freshness. The staff is always friendly, Octavio and Maricela are so nice. It just feels good to eat in a spot that's so tidy.

The matcha is the real deal. That vibrant green color tells you it's fresh, and the flavor is deep, not bitter at all. It's got that rich, almost grassy taste I look for.

Staff was super friendly. Helped me pick a smoothie from the menu since I had no idea what to get. Went with the mango one, it was good. Just what I needed on a hot day.
