The restaurant's location is already stunning, right in the middle of the Rysum shipyard. Inside, a lovingly created symbiosis of an old Gulfhof and a contemporary dining room.
The service is personal, friendly, attentive, and interested. Top marks here, too.
Now for the most important thing: the food: The concept is to offer high-quality dishes using primarily regional products and without convenience foods and flavor enhancers. In short: they succeed without compromise. I like to try the English rump steak in a new restaurant. Unfortunately, hardly any kitchen passes this test. Here, it's different: the meat was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. Amazing! The side dishes were also impressive, and the salad provided the necessary flavor contrast to the overall composition.
Conclusion: An evening where everything was perfect. And even though we have to drive a bit to get to Rysum, we will certainly visit again.
