Decent spot right by the water. The Labskaus was pretty good, probably the highlight. Steak and potato soup were fine too. Portions are generous for the price. Just a bit busy when I went.

The robot waiter was a nice touch, made things feel a bit fun. Service was quick and the place has a classy vibe. Prices seemed fair for what you get.

Been coming here for years. Food's solid whether you stop in for lunch or dinner. Staff friendly enough, kitchen knows what they're doing. Never had a bad meal.

The breakfast spread is solid — salmon, pancakes, decent coffee. Room stayed quiet even when full, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly too.

Food's decent, service okay. Been here a few times, some days better than others. Not bad for a quick bite.

Came for the view, stayed for the pizza—that dough was light as it gets. Parma ham and arugula worked perfectly together. A glass of Chianti would've made it even better.

Stopped by for lunch while at Alstertal. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. Service quick enough. For the price it's fine. Not a bad spot if you're already there shopping.

Stopped by for a casual dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red to go with the schnitzel. Solid pick, nothing fancy but it paired well. Portions are generous, staff friendly enough. Menu's pretty standard for around here, but you know what you're getting. Fine for a no-fuss evening.

The lunch menu gyros with fries for €14.90 was a proper deal. Portion was generous, honestly more than I expected. Staff were friendly, didn't rush me at all. Just a solid spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place has that old captain’s house vibe, pretty cozy. Service was on point, no waiting around. Got the fish dish—taste was solid, fresh. But honestly, portion felt small for what you pay. I was still hungry after. Maybe order a side if you’ve got a bigger appetite. Fine for a fast bite, not a full fill-up.

The fish here is really good. I had the pan-fried one and the platter—both fresh, nicely cooked, portions were generous. The salad with that homemade dressing was a nice touch too. Place was busy but we got seated quick. Only thing, service got a bit slow later on. Still, solid spot for fish.

The schnitzel here is probably the best I've had. Really crispy outside, tender inside. They also bring out some free appetizers while you wait, which was a nice surprise. Fries were a bit soft, could've been crispier. Cozy little place, staff was friendly. If you're in the mood for schnitzel, this is the spot.

The lakeside view is the main reason to come here. Had dinner watching the sunset over the water, decent local food. Service was fine, nothing special. Good spot if you're already in the area.

The food was solid — I had the schnitzel and it came out hot and crispy. Service was fine, not overly chatty which I liked. The lighting inside is a bit dim for my taste though, made it hard to really see the plate. Cozy enough, but I wouldn't say the seating is super comfortable for a long dinner.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Salad was fresh and big enough to share. Tried the currywurst too — sauce had a bit of a kick, pretty solid. Place was busy but fine. Nothing fancy, just decent food at a fair price. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Waffles were good and the coffee did the job. Dog got a welcome too, which was nice. Terrace seating was fine, but we almost walked past the place—signage along the promenade is pretty weak.

We had a really good evening here. The liver dish was the highlight, cooked just right. Amuse-bouche and dessert were solid too. Staff was super friendly, and they decorated our table nicely since we asked for it. Only tiny thing, it got a bit loud later on, but that didn't bother us much.

Great spot right in the dunes, view is killer. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Seating's a bit rough though, not the most comfortable for a long sit.

Great spot just steps from the beach. Paid a bit more than usual, but the food held up its end. Nice wine list too, matched well with the seafood.

If you're looking for a place with great steaks, this is it! The cooking points were spot on, and the side dishes complemented the meal perfectly. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for lunch on a quiet afternoon. Schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Staff actually seemed happy to be there, which counts for a lot these days. Place is easy to find in Poppenbüttel. Only thing, it got a bit busy later and service slowed down. Fine for a casual meal though.

We stopped in for dinner and honestly the pizza crust was the highlight—flavorful, chewy, just right. Staff kept the drinks coming and even dropped off extra bread and parmesan without us asking. Busy night but they handled it well. My wine pairing worked out nicely with the margherita. Only hiccup was a bit of a wait for the bill.

Busy place, no doubt. Steak was solid, cooked right. Staff kept it friendly even with the rush. Got in and out quick enough for a lunch break. Not the quietest spot, but that's fine. Would grab the same thing again if I'm nearby.

The food was really good, but the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Still, the quiet location made it a nice spot to sit and relax.

Stopped by for Sunday lunch. Tagliatelle from the specials menu was solid, well cooked and properly seasoned. Bill came out fair for the portion size. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Would go back if in the area.

Been coming here for a while now. The gyros are always hot and well-seasoned, never had a bad one. Service stays consistent too.

The fish tasted properly fresh and the price felt fair for what you got. Salad was crisp too. I liked that they brew their own beer, adds something a bit different. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing—the seating area near the window felt a little cramped, but that's minor. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

The view over the Großer Plöner See really is something. Food looked great on the plate, tasted fresh too. Place was packed, so we waited a bit for a table. Not ideal, but sitting outside with that water right there made it fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Fresh pasta was really good, especially the truffle one. Prices fair for the quality. Place was a bit loud but still fine for a quick dinner.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. Had the fish dish and it was cooked well, decent portion too. Menu's got a bit of everything, German and Asian options included. Service was friendly, no complaints.
