Lovely place at footsteps of Tuscany hills to celebrate a special occasion. The service, wine, coffee and food were amazing, we particularly enjoyed the cheek of veal. The chef served us a bonus bean soup with cod and olive oil. It was unusual and delicious combination. We enjoyed chatting with our waiter Marina and appreciate her recommendations on menu selection! We were not staying at this lovely bed and breakfast villa, but this place is worth a separate stay, maybe next visit to Lucca and Tuscany

Great spot for a big group, they just pushed a few tables together for the eight of us. Local dishes were solid and the bill didn't hurt at all.

The staff is always so friendly. As regulars, they've even helped us pick up a bit more Italian over the years.

Nice spot on a quiet piazza. Sat outside for brunch, just watching people pass by. Very relaxed. Coffee was good, but the eggs were a touch overdone for my taste. Still, a pleasant way to spend a morning.

The seasonal gelato flavors are so creative! You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients.

The staff were friendly and professional. I enjoyed the wide selection, especially the filled schiacciate. A solid choice for a casual lunch. It did get a bit noisy later on, but the food was pretty good.

The ravioli with butter and sage is so good! Perfect for sharing with friends over a casual dinner.

Had a big group dinner on the terrace. Lovely spot. The wine list was decent, found a nice Chianti that went well with the pasta. A bit pricey for the drinks, but the setting made it worthwhile.

Sat outside for a late afternoon drink. The spritz was crisp, and they brought out a small plate of olives and nuts. Just a simple, pleasant way to unwind and people-watch. The snacks were a nice touch.

Popped in for an espresso and a croissant. The space is really cozy, with these old wooden chairs and soft lighting. It felt like a nice little escape from the street for a bit. The croissant was flaky and buttery.

Aperitivo hour here is a must. The snack platter that comes with drinks is generous, almost a meal. I had a glass of their house red, a simple Sangiovese that paired nicely with the salty meats. A solid spot to unwind.

A solid local spot in Lucca. Service was efficient, no fuss. Prices are fair for the quality. The pasta was good, though the portion was a bit smaller than expected. Not a tourist trap, which is a plus.

Came for coffee and ended up staying past sunset. The evening light through the windows was so soft and calming. Just a really nice, quiet spot to unwind.

Nice little spot to grab a pastry and chat. The vibe is quiet, feels like you can actually hear your friend talk. Got a chocolate croissant, it was flaky and not too sweet. Service was quick and friendly. A good place to just sit for a bit.

The pay-for-what-you-drink wine system is a nice touch. Main courses are reasonably priced, from €8 to €15.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my morning coffee with a delicious sandwich, a nice start to the day.

Been coming here for years, and the cornetti are always spot on. Flaky, not too sweet, perfect with a coffee. It’s my go-to for a quick bite before work. Never disappoints.

The panini and pizza were really good. I appreciated the local vegan option, the Cecina. A solid spot for a bite near the station. The staff was friendly and the seating was comfortable, which made for a relaxed lunch.

The view of Piazza San Michele and the church from my table was stunning. It made my morning coffee feel so serene and peaceful. Just what I needed.

Loved the vibe here, perfect for catching up with friends. The chicken with ham was so juicy, and the eggplant tart had this amazing flaky crust. Just a bit on the pricier side, but the food is solid.

Hidden gem in Lucca. Their tiramisu is the real deal. Creamy, not too sweet. Espresso was spot on. Just a bit cramped inside.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always spot on, and I love just looking at the pastry case. So many options, it's hard to choose. The sandwiches look great too. That's really what keeps me coming back.

The coffee here is consistently good. I'm not one for the atmosphere, but the espresso has a nice, rich crema and the flavor is balanced. It's a solid cup.
