Pizza came out fast even during the lunch rush. Tasted great for the price. Service was on point too.

The carbonara was honestly the highlight—creamy, salty, just right. We went on a Friday night with a few friends and it had that nice buzz without being too loud. Service was friendly too, not hovering. Only thing is the place is a bit small, so don’t come with a huge group. But for a casual catch-up, it totally worked 😊

The cocktail list was solid and the drinks came out fast. Staff were friendly without hovering. Tucked just off the main street, so it wasn't too loud or crowded. I appreciated that. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but for a quick drink it worked fine.

The courtyard garden is lovely when it's warm out. Got the schnitzel, service was quick and friendly. Solid spot for a lunch break.

The café’s shut for renovation until April 2026, which is a bummer. But honestly, the terrace is still worth hanging around if you’re there for the magnolias. We grabbed a coffee from the kiosk nearby and just sat outside. No big spend, just a decent spot to people-watch. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if you’re in the area, it’s fine.

The schnitzel with pineapple and gouda was a nice twist, and it came out fast. Portion was decent for the price, though service gets a bit scattered when they're busy.

Came here for lunch on a sunny day, sat outside on the terrace. The pork knuckle was huge, crispy skin, exactly what I wanted. But honestly, the price felt a bit steep for what you get. A beer and a main came to nearly 30 euros. Tasty, sure, but I left thinking the portion-to-price ratio could be better. Nice spot though, staff were friendly.

Came here on a busy evening. Place is big, seats are fine, but it gets really loud once it fills up. Had the schnitzel, decent enough. Service took a while though, we waited a good 15 minutes just for the drinks. Not bad for a casual stop, just don't come here if you're in a hurry.

Fast service, clean spot. Buffet had plenty of options for the price. Staff was friendly enough. Solid quick lunch stop.

Menu's got everything. Salads, pizzas, meats, fish, desserts. Tried the fish. Solid. Place is clean, staff friendly.

Great spot in Trier with a killer view of the cathedral. Outdoor seating was nice, and the local wines hit the spot. Just wish they'd been a bit quicker with the bill.

Came here on a whim and honestly left impressed. The schnitzel was huge and properly crispy, not greasy at all. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was packed with locals, which I took as a good sign. Only downside: took a while to get our drinks, but the staff stayed friendly about it. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Service was quick and the kids' meal was actually decent — that's rare. Portions were big enough for the price. Solid spot if you're nearby.

Lunch was solid. Started with the potato soup, then went for the traditional dish, number 120. Both hit the spot, and the portion was big enough to take some home. Place is massive, pretty family-oriented. I had a glass of their house red with the main, which worked fine with the hearty sauce. Nothing fancy, but decent.

Decent lunch spot. The salmon with potato crust was pretty good, though the middle could've been crispier. Nice local wine selection too.

The pizza was really good, we liked it so much we came back the next day. One waitress was a bit short with us though, not rude exactly, just brisk. The spaghetti Bolognese was a letdown, kinda bland. But the pizza made up for it. Nice enough spot for a casual meal if you stick to the basics.

The pork knuckle was spot on—crispy skin, tender inside. Been here a few times, never had a bad meal. Price is fair for what you get.

The baked cheesecake here had a really nice pastry crust, and the berry cake was packed with fruit. Milch kaffee tasted proper. Solid spot for Kaffee und Kuchen.

We grabbed takeout for a group and honestly the food was super well prepared. Packed up nicely too, everything stayed warm. There was a small mix-up with one order but the staff sorted it out fast, no drama. Would definitely order from here again when we're all hanging out. Solid spot for a casual group feed 🍜

We've been coming here for years, and the octopus is still the standout. Meat platters were solid, too. Friendly service and the ouzo to start and finish. Decent spot.

The mixed grill platter was solid—good portions, meat cooked right. The garlic herb butter with the bread was the highlight for me. Ended with warm honey schnapps, nice touch.

The half roast chicken was solid, juicy and well-seasoned. Cordon bleu looked good too, though I only tried a bite of my friend's. Place has that classic German tavern feel, wooden tables and all. Seats are a bit hard after an hour, but that's kind of expected. Would come back for the chicken.

Room was clean and quiet, slept well. Dinner was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Breakfast included, which was a nice bonus. Fine for a stopover.

Been coming here for a while now. Service gets a bit stretched when it’s packed, but the staff still manage to stay friendly. That’s honestly why I keep coming back. Just a solid, no-fuss spot for a relaxed meal when you don’t want to deal with anything fancy.
