The Gault & Millau sticker on the door is well deserved. The tapas here are more like a gastronomic experience—each bite is a delight. The Malbec we had was excellent too.

Stopped by for a cold brew last week. It did the job, decent strength and smooth taste. Asked about their beans and the barista actually knew what she was talking about. Place is small though, only a few seats. I grabbed the last one around 3pm. Fine if you're not planning to sit for long.

The seafood platter was solid—tuna and salmon cooked right, no complaints there. Staff knew their wine, that helped. But honestly, for what you pay, I expected a bit more on the plate. It's good, just not a place I'd hit every week unless someone else is picking up the tab.

The grilled veggie plate was fresh, nicely charred, not drowned in oil. I liked that. Just wish there were more plant-based mains on the menu. My friend's fish looked good too, but I stuck with what I had. Cozy enough inside, nothing fancy. Would come back for a light lunch if I'm in the area.

Been coming here for a while now, and the fish quality just stays consistent. Fresh every single time, which is honestly the main reason I keep going back. Mr. Chen at the front is always nice, threw in a couple extra pieces last visit without us asking. Place is a little tucked away, but that's fine. Prices are fair for what you get.

Sat at the bar, watched the chef slice the toro. That sashimi was the highlight. Place has a proper local feel, nothing fancy. Just solid fish and a quiet vibe. Good if you want a simple, no-fuss dinner. Maybe not for a big group though.

Gluten-free order got messed up at first, but they redelivered the same meal free. Safe and actually tasty. Good on them.

The green curry here is really fresh—lots of vegetables, not too heavy. I appreciate that they don't overload it with coconut milk. Had a quiet lunch and the flavors felt balanced. Portion was decent for the price. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The old brewery vats and engines give the place real character. Nice break from the tourist spots.

The Bouneschlupp was proper hearty, just what I needed on a cold day. Portions are generous too. Only thing, the chairs were a bit hard by the end of the meal.

Food came fast and was cooked properly, but honestly everything felt a bit too salty for me. Prices are fair though, especially for being right in the center.

Got the beef burger at the hotel restaurant after a late check-in. Meat was juicy, bun held up well. Parking being free overnight didn't hurt either.

The Happ salad with avocado and mango was solid, dressing was light and fresh. Juices hit the spot too. Space is a bit tight but service was quick. Fine spot for a veggie lunch.

Service was the highlight — we came in with a bunch of loud kids and the staff handled it without missing a beat. Food was solid too, nothing mind-blowing but well executed. Place got busy fast, yet they kept everything moving. That kind of patience is rare.

The madeleines were still warm when they brought them out — that alone made the visit worth it. Staff were friendly too, though the seating near the window felt a bit cramped.

The pasta was solid and the tiramisu really hit the spot. Nice little spot in Merl, glad they're open on Sundays.

Stopped by for a quick lunch around 1. Got the grilled chicken sandwich—came out in maybe 7 minutes. That’s what I needed. Place was busy but not chaotic. Food was solid, nothing fancy. Fine for a weekday bite when you’re short on time.

The pan-Asian menu’s got a bit of everything—miso soup, yakitori, sushi, chicken katsu. I went for the duck though, and honestly it was the best pick. Tender, flavourful, no complaints. Mochi after was a nice little finish. Place was pretty quiet for a weekday evening, which suited me fine.

The grilled fish here was really good—perfectly charred outside and still juicy inside. Calamari was solid too, not rubbery at all. Prices felt fair for the quality, especially for seafood. Place was busy but we didn’t wait too long. I’d come back just for that fish honestly.

The wagyu brisket was spot on, tender and rich. Cocktails were solid too. Only thing—the bread came out a bit burnt, which was a small letdown. Still, the warm vibe inside made it a nice stop.

Nice little terrace, good wine list. Got the charcuterie platter and it hit the spot. Staff was chill, not hovering. Place has a decent vibe for an afternoon glass.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Pizza prosciutto e funghi was solid, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Lunch special was already off by the time we got there around 3pm, bit of a letdown. Still, price was fair for the area. I'd come back if I'm nearby and craving pizza.

The cordon bleu here is seriously good. Crispy outside, still juicy inside, and the portion was big enough that I skipped dinner later. Probably the best one I've had in town so far. Just wish the fries were a bit hotter when they came out, but honestly didn't care much once I started eating.

Stopped by for a glass of crémant and stayed longer than planned. Small place, decent music, relaxed Sunday vibe. Wine was pretty good. Fine for a casual evening.
