Booked a standard room, got upgraded to a suite with two rooms and a private bath. Can't complain about that for the price we paid. A nice surprise.

The steak was exactly medium-rare as I asked. The peppercorn sauce was rich and had a nice kick. Veggies were crisp and well-seasoned. A solid, straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. The calamari is always spot on - never rubbery, just right. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Lovely spot for a meal with our pup. The steak was cooked just right, and I really appreciated how fresh the side salad tasted. The greens were crisp and the tomatoes were ripe. A nice, simple touch that made the meal feel wholesome.

They're so dog-friendly! Brought my pup and they gave him a little treat. Best part? You can grab fish and chips from the place next door and eat them here. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Service is much quicker now, and the place feels cleaner. The new team is definitely making a difference.

Popped in for a quick drink, they had treats for the dog at the bar which was a nice touch. Staff were really sound, managed to squeeze us in even though it was packed.

Popped in for a quick lunch while shopping. The kids' play area is a lifesaver - they loved the slides and climbing frame. Gave us a proper 20 minutes to actually eat our food in peace.

First time here and I was really impressed by the breakfast options. You can choose the size of your full English, which is perfect. The street parking was a nice bonus too.

The regulars and staff are friendly, but I'm here for the pint. It's a comfortable spot for a quiet one. The ale had a nice, balanced bitterness, not too heavy. Just right for sitting by the window and not thinking about much else.

Love the big beer garden here, really spacious. The inside feels open too, nice for a relaxed pint. The carvery smelled incredible walking past, definitely trying that next time.

Been coming here for years. Pints still around £2.50, which is hard to beat locally. It's just a reliable place for a cheap, no-fuss pint.

Lovely to sit outside in the sun. The sea view was just right with lunch. Had to keep an eye on my chips though—those seagulls are bold! A bit of a distraction, but still a nice spot.

The meal deal is a great way to try the classics. The fish was lovely and the portion was generous. My only small note is that the seating is a bit tight, so not the most comfortable for a long, relaxed lunch.

The turkey, brie, and cranberry toastie. The bread was perfectly crisp, holding a generous layer of melted brie. The cranberry cut through the richness just right. That's what I came for.

The beer is good, a solid selection of ales. I've heard the food is excellent, but I'm here for the pint. It's a proper pub, nothing fancy. The Monday quiz is a decent night out if you're into that.

Been coming here for years. The view over the bay is the main draw for me, never gets old. Food's always solid, nothing fancy but you know what you're getting. Decent spot for a quiet pint.

Decent pub food with generous portions. The steak and kidney pudding was a highlight, really quite good. The rest was fine, classic stuff. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

The food was really fresh, you could tell the ingredients were quality. The atmosphere was nice, but honestly, I was just focused on how clean and simple the dishes were. A good spot for a healthy meal.

Decent spot for remote work. Good WiFi, plenty of seating, and they're fine with you staying a while over a coffee.

The burgers from Bwyta Burgers were hot and fresh, clearly not pre-made. The onion rings were a great side.

Nice spot for a quick pint. Love the old-school vibe inside, especially the lighting. Staff were patient, no rush. Grabbed a seat at a round table, drink came fast. Perfect for a short break.

Great spot for a business lunch. The patio gets plenty of sun, ideal for a quick bite outside. Live music was a nice touch, not too loud. The beer garden vibe is solid for a casual meeting.

Stopped in on the drive back to London. The steak pie was piping hot, proper comfort food. Staff were really friendly, which was a nice touch after a long trip. Good value for the portion size.

Loved the Queen Victoria theme here! The decor is so charming, really gives the place its own character. Spotted so many little details in the wallpaper and old portraits. Staff were lovely too.

Stopped in after a coastal walk. The Americana pizza was decent, but honestly? Those homemade chips that came with the burger were the star. So crispy and perfectly seasoned. Just sat by the window watching the rain over the bay – a really nice, quiet spot.

The rigatoni con spezzatino was so flavourful. I really appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, you could taste it in the sauce. The atmosphere was relaxed, which was nice. A good spot for a proper, slow meal.
