Friendly staff, no reservation needed on a Tuesday night. They squeezed us in at a busy time, no fuss. Appreciated that.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been solid. But lately? It's just gotten even better. Noticed it on the steak last week - cooked perfectly, every time. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The new owners have done a nice job. It's a cozy spot now. We stopped in for a few beers and a glass of wine. The music was a good vibe, not too loud. Just a relaxed evening with the team.

The wings are a must-try. The Raging Coq sauce has a proper kick that doesn't overwhelm. Just the right amount of heat for me.

Been here a few times now, and the staff always remember us. It's a nice touch that makes the place feel familiar. They're genuinely friendly without being overbearing. Just a comfortable spot to grab a meal.

Sunday carvery is solid. Roast beef was tender, veg selection is extensive and fresh - not overcooked. The cauliflower cheese stood out. Good value for a set lunch.

Right in town centre, so easy to meet up. Menu's got plenty to choose from. Food arrived quick, which was nice. My steak was cooked just right, really enjoyed it.

Popped in for a pint after a walk. The space is huge and spotless, really fresh feel. But the view from the terrace is the real draw—just spectacular. Menu looked good, might come back to eat.

The John Dory special was cooked just right, really tasty. The staff were lovely, found us a table even though it was busy. My only note is the wine list felt a bit limited for a place like this—a few more interesting whites would have been ideal with the fish. Still, a nice evening.

The portions are huge here! I couldn't finish my pasta, but it was so tasty I had to take it home. Love that they're so welcoming to dogs 🐕. A solid spot.

Friendly bar staff and the outdoor area's nicely sheltered. Good drink deals, had a couple pints and stayed dry even when it drizzled. Solid spot for that.

The service here is pretty good. Staff are friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. They kept an eye on our table without being intrusive. A solid experience overall.

Amelia gave a helpful rundown of the menu. The braised lamb shank was the standout - fell off the bone, rich sauce, really well done. That's what I'll remember.

Dog-friendly spot, they even have treats for your pup. Nice for a quick bite with the furry friend. Got a sandwich, came out fast.

The chicken was juicy and the fries were crisp. For the price, the portion size was a bit small though.

Great spot right on the beach. Sat outside for a late lunch. The fish and chips were decent, but the view really made it. A bit pricey for what it was.

Came by for a late lunch on a sunny day. The vibe was really relaxed and elegant, just what I wanted. Staff were super nice and on top of things. Made for a really pleasant afternoon.

The chicken burger was solid. The breadcrumb coating had a good mix of herbs, made it stand out. Sticky toffee pudding was a decent finish. Service was efficient, got my order quickly during a busy lunch.

The burger was delicious. I really appreciated that they used fresh, locally sourced greens and a whole grain bun as an option. Made for a satisfying and balanced meal. The vibe here is nice, too.

Met up with friends here for a catch-up. The treacle tart was spot on, just like my nan used to make! The staff were really nice about swapping out the custard for cream for my mate. A good, relaxed spot for a long chat.

The roast beef was really tender, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Food's all fresh and tasty, portions are huge for the price. The music was a nice touch, made it a chill spot to grab a bite.

The team here is so lovely, Kerry Beth and Jamie especially. Just really nice, attentive service.

Stayed here for a few nights. The breakfast was the highlight for me. Really generous portions, especially the full English. Felt like good value for what you pay. Kept me going all morning.

Popped in for a pint. Their own-brewed pale ale was really solid, crisp and not too bitter. The taproom itself is pretty relaxed, though it does get busy with groups later on.

Popped in on a whim and snagged a table. The place has a really nice, relaxed feel to it. The veggie lasagne was proper home-cooked style. Staff were just two people but handled the busy room really well.

The staff were lovely, gave a really warm welcome. Service was spot on - attentive but not hovering. The wine list had some interesting local options, which was a nice touch. Made for a relaxed evening.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Ordered the fish and chips, came out fast and hot. Nice pub vibe too.
