The mee bandung's gravy is thick and rich, with a strong dried shrimp taste. It's the classic Muar style. The place itself is pretty basic, but that's part of the charm. Just a simple spot for a comforting bowl.

The lamb was a bit tough, but they replaced it without any fuss. They even gave us a complimentary fruit plate for the wait. Service like that is a nice surprise.

The breakfast spread is decent - you get your usual eggs and bacon, plus local stuff like nasi lemak. The waffle station is a nice touch. Staff were really on it, especially Azwan and Charti. They kept our coffee cups full without us asking. 👍

Fresh ingredients, no preservatives. Owner even gave tips on storing the yong tau foo.

Got the chicken rice here during lunch. Quick service, got my food in under 10 minutes. Place was already packed at 12:15. Food was decent, exactly what you need for a fast meal. Good spot for a quick bite.

The char kuey teow was really good, smoky and just the right amount of wok hei. Only thing is, they only gave two tiny prawns on top. Felt a bit light for the price.

The portions here are huge, especially the Pongteh chicken and Rendang Ayam. You definitely get your money's worth. Just a heads up, the tables are a bit close together, so it can feel a little cramped when it's busy.

Restaurant Tangkak Beef Noodle aka Restoran Kuang Fei is located in Jalan Solok, Kampung Padang Lalang, Tangkak, Johor. This Chinese beef noodle restaurant is one of the famous & highly acclaimed, and also my favourite beef noodle restaurant in Tangkak.

Kambing bakar for a quick lunch. Lamb was juicy, grilled nicely with that soy sauce. Egg on top was a nice touch. Parking's just by the road, easy in and out. Got my food fast, which is what I needed. Solid quick bite.

Always clean, staff are friendly. A solid spot when you just want a straightforward, no-fuss meal. You know exactly what you're getting.

The pandan cake is pretty good, light and not too sweet. The cheese tart was decent too, a bit rich for me though.

The food is always tasty, but I find the portions are very generous. I usually get the small size and it's plenty for two people. The seating is comfortable and the service is friendly, which makes for a relaxed meal.

Good spot for a quick lunch. The food options are decent, got a decent burger and fries. Service was fast, in and out in 30 mins. Place is pretty chill to unwind a bit after eating.

The nasi lemak bungkus here is my go-to. The coconut rice is so fragrant, and the sambal has a nice kick. I really appreciate that it's a fresh, simple option I can grab quickly. Perfect for a healthy lunch on a busy day.

Kedai Kopi Lu San is a Chinese Hainanese kopitiam, featuring curry rice, it was flavourful, chicken was tender, and the gravy was well paired with rice. The shop offers large variey of local products and deserts too.Business hours: 9am - 3.30pm, closed on every Thursday.

The staff here are really friendly. Makes the place feel welcoming.

The roti and curry here are really good. The shop is a bit old though, and it can get quite warm inside. Finding parking is also a bit of a hassle. Still, it's a nice spot for a simple meal.
