The sushi and sashimi were fresh, no complaints there. Tempura came out crispy, exactly how I wanted it. But honestly, the vibe is what got me — quiet, dim, felt like a tiny spot in Tokyo rather than here. Just that one detail made the whole meal click for me.

Stopped here for a quick takeaway before walking to Republic Square. The masala chai was solid, strong enough without being too sweet. Coffee's locally roasted too, which is nice. Price was fair for Male, not the cheapest but not tourist-trap level either. Portion was decent for a small cup. Would grab another one if I'm in the area again.

The churros were a nice surprise—they tossed in a few extra without us asking. Small spot, but clean and easy to hang out in. Price felt fair for what you get. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but honestly, no complaints.
