The rabbit stew was proper comfort food. Rich sauce, meat fell off the bone. Place has that unpretentious vibe, mostly locals which I liked. Only thing is it got a bit warm inside when it filled up. But honestly, that stew made up for it.

Nice view, food was okay. Service felt a bit all over the place though. Got our food last even though we ordered first. Calamari wasn't crispy either. 😕

The pork knuckle was solid—crispy skin, tender meat. Portion’s big enough for two, maybe three. Live music made it feel less formal, more like a proper Maltese evening. Snails were decent too.

The steak tartare was properly seasoned and tasted fresh. Asparagus came with a sesame sauce that kinda took over the dish though. Staff checked in on us a few times. Caught the fireworks from our table which was a nice way to end the night.

Had the poached eggs with rucola for breakfast — honestly one of the better ones I've had in a while. Portion was decent for the price, which surprised me. Sat outside and watched people walk by, no rush at all. Just wish the coffee came out hotter, but not a dealbreaker.

Solid spot for a pint and a burger after walking around all day. Classic rock in the background was a nice touch. Service was quick enough.

The pork belly was properly crispy, sauce had a good kick to it. Portion could be bigger for the price though.

I had the 7-course tasting menu, and it was a feast for the senses! Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, making it a memorable evening.

No. 1 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Valletta

Great spot for drinks with friends, that view is hard to beat. Staff were super friendly. Food was a bit hit or miss though, beef olives were great but the fish was meh. Toilets could use some work 😅

Patricia totally made the visit for us—she spotted we wanted a quieter table and moved us away from a loud group. Pizza was solid, fun to see how it stacks up against the US style. Crust had a nice chew to it. Would come back just for her service honestly.

The octopus starter was spot on, tender and grilled just right. Tagliata came exactly as I asked, nice and rare. We had a bottle of the local red with it, worked well with the meat. Service kept things moving without hovering. Chicken was a bit plain, could've used more punch. But honestly, the steak and wine made up for it.

Service was genuinely friendly, not the fake kind. Burger came out a bit overdone but the whole vibe made up for it. Easy stop if you're staying at the hotel upstairs.

Three visits in one week, that says it all. Portions are massive, I couldn't finish mine twice. The rabbit stew was the standout, tender and rich. Prices are fair for what you get. Place gets busy around eight, but the food comes out quick. If you're in Mellieha and hungry, just go.

Nice spot right on the bay. Staff were friendly and the burger was solid—huge portion though, couldn't finish mine. The chili on the side was a nice touch. 🌊🍔

The sorbet here is genuinely the best I’ve had in Malta—proper Italian stuff. Coffee was spot on too. Some dishes are a bit pricey for what you get, but I didn’t mind paying for the quality. Place was busy when I went, but service kept up fine. I’d go back just for dessert alone.

The octopus starter was spot on — tender and fresh. Daniel and Lynn took care of us well. Nice spot for a relaxed dinner with a decent glass of red.

Lovely old palazzo setting, staff really looked after us. Rabbit was decent, though a bit heavy on the salt for me. Worth a stop if you're after proper Maltese food.

The staff went out of their way to make me a vegan main even though it wasn't on the menu. Got a fresh salad and a decent eggplant thing with potatoes. My friends ordered the ribeye and seemed happy with it. Service was really attentive. Just wish the vegan option had a bit more sauce, it was a little dry.

The grilled octopus was spot on—tender, smoky, just the right amount of salt. Sat in the enclosed garden and yeah, a couple flies showed up, but honestly didn’t bother me much. Plating looked nice too, almost too pretty to dig into. Would come back just for that dish again.

The seabream in buttermilk was lovely, and the prawn tortellini in bisque really stood out. Beautifully presented too.

Lovely spot right on the harbour, watching the traditional boats while you eat. Staff were friendly and the owner gave us a free limoncello. Chocolate fondant was decent, maybe a bit pricey but fair for the view.

The fish lasagne with saffron velouté was the reason I came back here. Still just as good as the first time. The place gets a bit busy around sunset, but the food keeps it worth it. Wine list is decent too, nothing overpriced. A solid pick in Marsaxlokk if you want something a little different from the usual harbour spots.

The lunch deal is €10 for biryani and the beef was really tender, nicely spiced. Good spot if you want something quick and filling without fuss.

Stopped for coffee and ice cream — both were solid. Service was quick, staff friendly. Nice little spot to just sit and take a break.

No printed menu, just whatever the chef feels like that day. Our server walked us through every dish and it honestly felt like a dinner party at a friend's place. Great spot to bring a few people.

The mussels in prosecco broth were spot on. Octopus was tender too. Didn't care much about the view, but the food did the talking.

The tasting menu was a solid intro to Maltese food—rabbit and ravioli stood out. Owner’s a character, made the night fun.

The pork belly here was properly crispy, not chewy. That alone made the whole meal worth it. Had the rabbit too, sauce was rich but not heavy. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was busy but food came out quick. Would eat here again.
