The service at Mingalabar is exceptional, with friendly staff who are attentive and helpful. The head waiter, Hein Min Ko, provides a level of service that rivals top-tier establishments, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

The grilled fish was fresh, no fishy smell at all. Liked how they kept the seasoning simple so you could taste the ingredients. The building itself is quite nice too, old style but clean. Prices are fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The Irrawaddy prawn curry was solid. Good spice level, prawns cooked right. The crispy chilli duck was decent too, though I'd say the curry was the better pick. Dining room's clean and modern, no complaints there. Service was quick enough for a weekday lunch. Fair price for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Got the set meal and honestly the portion was decent for the price. They even showed us around the village after, which was a nice bonus.

Decent food, fresh and well-seasoned. Sat outside, a bit of traffic fumes but fine for people-watching. Owner spoke good English, pretty helpful.

The falafel salad really hit the spot. Crispy outside, soft inside, and the veggies tasted properly fresh. Best one I've had in a long while. Also grabbed some homemade bread and a fresh juice—both solid. Place was a bit busy but worth it.

The masala dosa here was properly crispy, and that veg curry on the side had real depth. Solid local breakfast spot, nothing fancy but it hit the spot.
