Been coming here for years. The recent refurbishment has kept the place feeling clean and fresh, which I really appreciate.

The staff are always so friendly and efficient. It's a reliable spot for a hot meal.

The staff here are so lovely! We ordered takeaway and the chef popped in a little extra rice for us, which was such a sweet gesture. Really makes you feel looked after.

Decent spot with a real 80s/90s Asian diner feel. Prices are pretty reasonable. The food was fine, though my noodles were a touch on the soft side.

Been coming here for years, and their double-cooked chips are always spot on. That crispy outside, fluffy inside - just the right thing to pick you up on a long day. Never lets you down.

A nice, friendly spot with a real neighbourhood feel. The staff are welcoming and it's a comfortable place to sit for a while. The coffee was decent. It did get a bit loud later on, but overall a pleasant visit.

First time here with a big group. The portions were huge and everything tasted great. The bar team was on it, really friendly and kept things moving.

Had a celebration in their function room. The buffet was the highlight - really liked the mix of hot and cold dishes, everything was kept fresh. Staff were on it, clearing plates quickly. The space itself was nicely decorated.

Nice spot right in the centre of Doncaster. The lounge area is welcoming and the staff were friendly. We had the Sunday roast, the beef was cooked just right, really tender. The only thing was the Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry. Still, a solid meal.

Stopped in for the champagne breakfast. Portions were just right, and the food was cooked perfectly. A nice way to start the day.

Great spot for a pint after work. The real ales are always fresh, and the staff are quick and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Been coming here for years. The welcome's always warm, and the food's consistently good. Had the steak last night, cooked just right. It's a reliable spot in the neighbourhood.

The chips are proper homemade, not frozen. A bit pricey for a side, but you can taste the difference.

Good spot, easy to find. The staff were really on it. I had the grilled chicken - cooked just right, and the portion was decent for the price. Better menu than I thought there'd be.

Cosy spot with the log burner going, just what we needed after a walk. The daily specials board is always tempting. Went for the fish pie special, really generous portion and the mash was spot on. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was a busy lunchtime.

The staff were so nice about letting us switch to a window seat. That made all the difference. The pizzas were really tasty, and the bill for three of us with drinks felt fair.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, the staff are friendly and always remember your name. Makes you feel at home.

Service was solid, staff were on it. Erin in particular was attentive, remembered our drink orders. They had a nice little wine list, nothing crazy but a decent Malbec that went well with the steak. Efficient, no real waiting around.

Busy spot, good energy. We were seated quickly. The portion sizes are generous for the price, I couldn't finish my main. Solid value for a casual meal out.

The rooms are lovely, and the private access to the event hall was a real plus. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the evening.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was perfectly pink and the Yorkshire puddings were huge. Felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

I'm not the biggest fan of Spoons, but it's a solid choice. The spice bag was genuinely good, and the table service was impressively quick. Prices are always a plus. It's just a comfortable, no-fuss spot when you need it.

The Sunday roast was spot on. The roast veg were cooked just right, and the cauliflower cheese side was so good I almost ordered another. A really solid meal.

Jo was our server, and she was just lovely. Really smiley and attentive without being overbearing. The food was spot on, as usual. It’s the kind of service that makes a simple lunch feel like a proper treat.

Been coming here for years, and what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Even on a quiet Monday, the food is just as good as on a busy Saturday. It’s that reliability I appreciate.

Free parking right out front was a win. The big windows looking over the garden are a nice touch. Had the grilled sea bass – skin was perfectly crisp, fish itself was moist and flaky. Really enjoyed that. Could have used a touch more seasoning in the herb butter, but a solid dish.

The bass was fresh and cooked just right. Good portion for the price. Server was friendly and handled the whole floor by herself, so a bit of a wait. Fine for a quick lunch.

The new layout is impressive, but honestly, I'm just here for the food. The Sunday roast beef was cooked just right, still pink in the middle. The gravy was rich, not too salty. That's what I'll remember.
