The coffee is reliably good, but I wish they had more interesting options for pairing with pastries. The staff are always lovely.

Booked the covered patio for a party. Ryan and the team were super helpful with all the planning. Everyone liked their food and drinks. The space felt really nice and private, just what we needed.

The dosas are so crisp and the fillings are generous. What I really liked was the space – it's bright, airy, and the wooden tables are really comfortable. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a meal.

The Otter offers beautifully cooked food with strong and flavoursome ingredients, making it a delightful dining experience.

The Trent Lock Inn offers a fantastic dining experience with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service from Yuliia was exceptional, making our visit truly enjoyable.

Booked ahead for a Saturday and glad we did, it was packed. The highlight for me was the black truffle pasta – the flavour was really something else, so rich and fragrant. Portion was decent too.

The kimbap was spot on, really tasty. Waited about 30 minutes for a table though, so maybe book ahead.

Been coming here for years, and it's still just as comfortable as ever. The staff are always so friendly, and the booths are nice and spacious. A reliable spot for a quiet meal.

Been here a few times now and the food's always solid. What I really notice is how they plate everything - the colours are so bright and it just looks lovely on the table. Makes the whole meal feel a bit nicer.

Service was quick and friendly. The staff kept an eye on the table and changed the grill paper without us having to ask, which was nice. Made the whole thing feel relaxed.

Been coming here for years for the real deal. The lamb skewers are spot on, juicy and charred just right. Their chicken karahi is a must, so rich and flavourful. Prices haven’t gone crazy either. A solid spot.

Popped in for a late lunch. The steak and ale pie was solid, proper comfort food. Good portion for the price. Stuck around for a sticky toffee pudding, which hit the spot.

The staff here are lovely, really attentive. My latte was spot on. Food's cooked well, no complaints. Just felt the portion for the price was a bit on the small side, that's all.

Good selection of gluten-free dishes. The quality is consistently fresh and solid. Service is efficient, which works for a quick business lunch. Prices are reasonable for the area.

The lamb doner kebab with garlic mayo and sweet chili sauce is my go-to. The spot has a really relaxed, no-fuss vibe which is just right after a night out.

Been getting their ice cream for years. Always a quick, reliable treat. Flavours are rich and natural, no weird aftertaste.

The veggie breakfast was a nice surprise. I really focus on fresh ingredients, and the sausages were particularly good – packed with flavour and didn't feel heavy at all. The plate was nicely presented too. A solid choice for a healthier start.

Comfy seats, decent prices. Service was fine. Just a nice, chilled spot to hang out for a bit. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

Lovely little spot. Menu is fantastic, and the food is consistently delicious. Service is always top-notch. You really do need to book ahead though, it gets so busy.

The rooms are clean and comfy, which was a relief after a long drive. Staff were really helpful too.

The carvery's always spot on, the roast beef especially. Juicy and properly seasoned. The gluten-free menu is a thoughtful addition, just wish it had a couple more choices on there.

Wasn't sure about it, but the huge menu made it easy for our whole group to find something. Food came out fast and hot, which was perfect for a casual catch-up.

The unlimited breakfast is a solid deal. The staff were really nice about us coming in near closing, and the house bloody mary was a good kickstart.

Been here a few times now. Food's always decent, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Service is quick, which I appreciate. They often have some good deals on, so keeps it affordable. Solid choice for a casual bite.

Lovely spot with a rustic feel, those stone walls are great. The seating is really comfortable, which is so important to me. I had a drink and just relaxed there for ages, it was very peaceful.

Popped in for a quick bite. The veggie medley pizza was spot on, really fresh and tasty. My mates liked their fish and chips too. Decent spot for a casual meal.

My friend was right about this place. The food was a nice surprise, honestly.

First time ordering breakfast for the team. The pastries were still warm when they arrived, which was a nice surprise. Everyone really liked them.
