A cozy little spot in Derby. Came for lunch, the salad was really fresh. You could tell the greens were just prepped that morning. The grilled chicken on top was nicely seasoned, not dry at all. A good, simple option if you're watching what you eat.

The rooms are clean and comfy, which was a relief after a long drive. Staff were really helpful too.

The gluten-free menu is clearly marked, which is a relief. We had no issues at all. They even suggested a nice white wine that paired well with my fish dish, made the whole thing smoother.

The portion sizes here are huge. I ordered the chicken curry and could barely finish half of it, ended up taking the rest home. For the price, you really get a lot of food.

The meal deal is a good option. I liked that the portions were generous, and the ingredients in my salad tasted really fresh. It felt like a proper, healthy lunch.

The staff were really on it with my nut allergy. They checked everything, even the sauces, and the manager came over to reassure me. Felt properly looked after.

The carvery's always spot on, the roast beef especially. Juicy and properly seasoned. The gluten-free menu is a thoughtful addition, just wish it had a couple more choices on there.

Wasn't sure about it, but the huge menu made it easy for our whole group to find something. Food came out fast and hot, which was perfect for a casual catch-up.

The unlimited breakfast is a solid deal. The staff were really nice about us coming in near closing, and the house bloody mary was a good kickstart.

Been here a few times now. Food's always decent, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Service is quick, which I appreciate. They often have some good deals on, so keeps it affordable. Solid choice for a casual bite.

Lovely spot with a rustic feel, those stone walls are great. The seating is really comfortable, which is so important to me. I had a drink and just relaxed there for ages, it was very peaceful.

Popped in for a quick bite. The veggie medley pizza was spot on, really fresh and tasty. My mates liked their fish and chips too. Decent spot for a casual meal.

My friend was right about this place. The food was a nice surprise, honestly.

Monday to Thursday set menu is just £12. The food is tasty, cooked well. Service is lovely and friendly.

The staff here really make the place. They're quick, friendly, and actually seem to like what they do. Makes a big difference to the whole vibe.

Been coming here for years, and that sausage and bacon sandwich is the reason. It's always just right – thick, proper doorstop bread, good quality bacon. Never lets me down. Grab a takeaway croissant sometimes too.

Love the vibe here, always buzzing. Grabbed a pint of their house lager - crisp and refreshing, went down a treat. The fact you can pop next door for a curry and bring it back is a real bonus. Makes for a relaxed evening.

First time ordering breakfast for the team. The pastries were still warm when they arrived, which was a nice surprise. Everyone really liked them.

Been coming here for years. Their cappuccino is just consistently good. Strong, creamy foam, never bitter. I always get one with a slice of whatever cake is on the counter. It's my little weekend ritual.

The Sunday carvery is a solid choice. The portions are generous and the vegetables were fresh. I really appreciated how the staff kept the hot plates topped up without being asked, made the whole thing very relaxed. Good value.

Came across this place by chance. The sourdough toast was spot on, crispy outside, soft inside. The background music was just right, not too loud. Felt really relaxed just sitting there for a bit.

The recent renovation makes the space feel so clean and fresh. It’s a nice bonus to have a proper indoor seating area.

The sweet and sour pork was really crispy, and the sauce was spot on. Perfect for sharing with a few mates.

Been here a few times now, and the food's always solid. The staff are really nice and actually know their stuff about gluten-free options, which is a big help for me.

Mixed grill was the star. The gammon in particular was spot on, really good quality and cooked just right. A very satisfying plate.

The spring rolls and duck were a great start for sharing. Lemon chicken was nice, service was quick.

The cod and chips is a proper portion for two. We couldn't finish it. The house lager cut through the richness nicely, a solid pairing. Good value.

A lovely little spot. The staff were so polite and attentive, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed. The food was flavourful and authentic, and the portions were generous. A very comfortable place to dine.

The food's cooked fresh to order, which is a nice change from a regular buffet. The place itself has a really relaxed, modern feel.
