The staff are friendly and efficient most of the time. Had a great lunch, the food was spot on. My only gripe? The service did slow down a bit during the peak lunch rush. It happens, but a smoother wine list hand-off would have been nice.

Quick bite during lunch break. Had the vegan burger, decent portion. Service was fast, got my order in under 10 minutes. Nice to have a view of the park while eating. Good spot for a quick meal.

The carrot cake is the thing here. Moist, not too sweet, with a cream cheese frosting that has a nice tang. It's what I come for. The coffee is decent, but honestly, it's all about that slice of cake.

Love the vibe in this old building, feels like stepping back in time. Perfect for a chilled evening with friends. The lighting was just right, not too bright. Could sit here for hours.

The taro tapioca milk tea was lovely. I really appreciate that they use fresh taro in the drink, you can taste the difference.

The coffee is the star here. I had a flat white by the window and the flavour was so rich and smooth. It's my new favourite spot for a quiet moment. The vibe is just right.

Had the Christmas carvery here. The roast potatoes were crisp, the turkey was moist. The spiced apple crumble was a nice finish, you could taste the fresh apples. Staff were friendly as usual. A good, hearty meal.

Nice to see vegan options on the menu. The 'chickn' was solid, and it paired well with a crisp lager. Chips could've been a bit crispier for me.

My husband and I have been travelling from Sheffield to the Fork every Sunday for the last few weeks as we feel this is the best carvery we have visited, and we've visited many places. The service, food and atmosphere are without a doubt excellent in every way. Well done to everyone concerned. You've got a great team !!!!

Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh. The hot chocolate is a hit with kids. Scones come out warm, which is nice. Place is always clean and tidy.

A proper pub with a proper pub feel. The outdoor seating is a lifesaver when it's packed inside, makes it so much more relaxed. We tried the chicken burrito and a couple of the curries, all very tasty. Just a really comfortable spot for a casual meal.

The ramen was pretty good, hot and well-seasoned. The chilli squid is definitely the highlight, really crisp and tasty. A solid spot for a quick, decent meal.

The sizzler arrived properly sizzling this time, which was a relief. The whole place just feels more relaxed than other spots, you can actually have a conversation without shouting.

The gluten-free scone was a real treat, honestly the best I've come across in a long while. Served warm, just right. Their specialty ones looked lovely too.

Clean toilets, which is always a plus. The free walking trail map was genuinely useful for planning a quick hike after lunch. Saved me having to look it up on my phone. A practical touch for visitors.

The food is really good, but it gets so busy. Had to wait ages for our mains after ordering. The parking lot is a bit rough too, stones everywhere.

The vegan danish was spot on. Flaky pastry, not too sweet, with a really nice texture. Plant-based pastries can be hit or miss, but they've got this one right.

The full English breakfast was spot on. The black pudding had that rich, iron-y depth, the bacon was crisp, and the eggs were just runny enough. They kept up with a big table without the food sitting under lamps. Solid.

I really enjoyed my visit! The staff were attentive, and the food was tasty. The playful cats added to the charm of the place, making it a perfect spot for a fun outing.

Rotisserie chicken is always fresh here. Perfect for a quick lunch. Midweek deals are a bonus. Gets my order right every time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at The Castle. The Signature Burger was absolutely amazing, and the staff, especially V, were knowledgeable and friendly.

The wall of games is a bit overwhelming, honestly. But the staff member who helped us was so patient, pointing out a few simpler ones for our group. Made all the difference.

Those truffle hash browns were a real treat. The truffle flavour was so distinct, and they had that ideal crispy edge. Just a lovely, simple dish done really well.

The food was really fresh, and the coffee was lovely. What stood out was how comfortable the seats were – you could sit for ages without feeling rushed. The staff were very friendly, which made for a relaxed lunch.

Early breakfast spot with a massive menu. The staff are super friendly, which is nice when you're half-awake. Portions are generous for the price. My full English was spot on, though the black pudding was a bit dry.

Found this spot while looking for gluten-free options. Their gluten-free club panini was really good, and the Billionaire's slice was a crowd-pleaser. Took a piece of the cornflake tart away with me - so tasty!

Quick lunch stop. Sandwiches were fresh, pork pies had great pastry. Service was friendly, bill was fine. Got me in and out fast. 👍

Stopped by for lunch. The Singapore vermicelli was spot on, probably the best I've had in ages. Service was quick and friendly. Just a nice, easy meal.

Staff were so lovely, really attentive. The Pep sandwich was fresh and hot, a proper treat. My friend said the veggie breakfast was the best they've had. Just a nice, easy meal.
