The Ube French toast was a standout. Crispy outside, soft inside, the ube flavour really came through. Could have been a bit more generous with the portion for the price, but I enjoyed it.

Every time I visit Toby Rotherham, I'm impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The staff really go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.

Been coming here for years now. It’s the portion size that keeps me coming back—always generous, always consistent. You just know what you’re getting. A solid spot.

A nice local spot for coffee. I went for the sourdough mozzarella toastie. Appreciated the simplicity – just good, fresh bread and cheese, no unnecessary extras. The coffee was good too. A reliable choice for a straightforward bite.

The staff here are lovely and attentive, contributing to a great overall experience. The food is consistently fantastic, making it a place worth visiting again.

Tried the 30th anniversary menu. The onion and brie tart was good, rich flavour. Service was efficient, got us in and out for a 1:30 business lunch. The set price felt fair for the portion.

The patatas bravas were spot on. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and the sauce had a real kick to it. The crema catalana was good too, with a proper burnt sugar crust.

The vibe here is really nice, especially with the warm lighting and those big wooden tables. I can imagine it gets even better after dark. The snacks were decent, but honestly, I was just there for the atmosphere.

First time at a proper chip shop, and the staff were so patient explaining the menu. The baklava was lovely.

Caught the match here last night. It’s a proper local, buzzing when the game's on. Loads of screens, so you won't miss a thing. The vibe is spot on for that.

Staff were really helpful with my friend's peanut allergy. They checked ingredients carefully and suggested safe options. Made the whole meal much less stressful.

The staff are so friendly. Tope helped us pick from the menu, which was really nice.

Decent selection of drinks. The craft beers were good, but the cocktails felt a bit pricey for what you get.

Service gets a bit slow when they're packed, but the staff are always polite and trying their best.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. Just drinks, no food, but the vibe is right for a chilled evening.

The sirloin was cooked rare just how I like it, really tender. The peppercorn sauce was a nice touch. The place itself has a cosy, rustic vibe with lots of wood and warm lighting.

Love the beer garden here. It's so spacious and well-maintained, really nice for a chilled pint. The outdoor bar is always well-stocked, which is a plus. Just a really pleasant spot to unwind.

Had a decent group dinner here with 12 people. The lamb was pretty good, just as we'd hoped. Service was efficient and they handled our large table fine, though it did get a bit loud in our corner.

The steak and kidney pudding was a proper cosy pub classic. Perfect for a catch-up with mates on a chilly evening.

A lovely little deli. The breakfast was tasty and came out quickly. What stood out for me was the interesting selection of drinks to go with the food – a nice touch you don't always find. Friendly spot.

Solid spot for a post-work pint. The Abbot Ale was spot on and reasonably priced. Good range of real ales on tap too. Service was efficient, got my order sorted quickly.

The fish and chips were spot on. But honestly, what stood out was the bar area itself. It had this lovely, relaxed vibe with really comfortable stools. Just a nice place to unwind and enjoy a pint with your meal.

A nice place to bring the dog. I appreciate that they use fresh, local ingredients in their pub classics. The fish and chips were light and not greasy, which is a plus. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, perfect for a relaxed chat.

Popped in for a quick lunch, the place was packed. Staff were really on it though, got my order sorted fast and checked in without being pushy. Made a busy visit feel easy.

Nice spot for a sunny afternoon pint. Sat out front watching the world go by. They had a guy playing acoustic guitar later on, which was a nice surprise. The back area by the little pond is quieter if that's more your thing.
