Stumbled into this place looking for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than planned. The table service caught me off guard—in a good way. Felt like a proper local pub where nobody rushes you. Just wish I'd had more time to try more of the menu.

The breakfast plate was pretty big for what you pay. Avocado and poached eggs were done right. Only thing, the bread wasn't toasted, kinda soft. Still, decent spot for a quick bite.

Right on the shopping street, easy to pop in for a quick break. Seating's a bit tight but fine for a rest.

The full English breakfast here hit the spot. Proper sausages and fresh juice, better than most spots in Amsterdam. Beans were decent too.

Came here for a quick coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. Perfect people-watching spot, honestly. My daughter got a hot chocolate and she was super happy with it. Service was fast too, which I didn't expect for a busy afternoon. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The apple pie at this place on Kalverstraat is solid. Warm, cinnamon-heavy, not too sweet. Red velvet cake was decent too. Sausage rolls actually surprised me, better than most I've had back home. Didn't care much about the cozy vibe or anything else, just ate and left.

The staff really looked after us — and the cats too. They even made a gluten-free cake from scratch for my allergy. That was thoughtful.

The cocktails are consistently good here, and the bartender remembered my usual order from last time. That kind of attention keeps me coming back.

Cute place, that blue-and-white decor is really nice. Had the sweet and savoury pancake combo, decent portion for the price. Coffee was okay. Got pretty busy but staff kept up fine.

The granola bowl is honestly the reason I keep coming back. Good crunch, not too sweet, and the yogurt is thick. Wifi held up fine for a whole afternoon of calls, and it stayed quiet enough to actually focus. Place has a nice calm hum to it. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I didn't mind.

Had the salmon bagel with dill sauce. Chewy, fresh, not those dense dry ones you get everywhere. Pretty close to a proper NY bagel honestly.

Stopped by for some sweets. Good selection, cookies and some seasonal stuff. Staff was friendly, helped me pick something. Nice little corner spot.

The meatballs with mustard and pickles were really good, and the price was fair. Service was friendly too.

Been coming here for years now. The vibe stays consistent, even when it’s packed on a Saturday night. Sure, you’ll be standing with your beer, but that’s part of the charm. The music’s all over the place—one minute old school, next minute something random—but it just fits. Always leave feeling like I’ve had a proper night out.

The truffle chicken sandwich was solid—rich, messy, exactly what I wanted. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the cream nicely. Mini pancakes on the side were a sweet little bonus. Place stays quiet even when the center gets packed. Good for a slow lunch if you're not in a rush.

The apple pie was solid—not too sweet, crust more like a cookie than the usual flaky one. Whipped cream on the side worked well. Worth a stop if you're nearby.

Tried the chocolate banana tart and the classic lemon one. Both were fresh, pastry was properly crisp. 20+ kinds to choose from, honestly a bit overwhelming. Prices are normal for Amsterdam bakeries. The chocolate banana one had a good balance, not too sweet.

Popped in for a coffee last week. The almond golden latte was decent, not too sweet. Place has a relaxed feel, good for sitting around. Staff were friendly enough. Coffee's solid, though nothing mind-blowing. I'd come back if I'm in the area and need a caffeine fix.

Ordered a big latte for €4.2 and picked from eight different bagel types. The vegan and gluten-free options are solid, and the staff kept things moving smoothly.

The smoothie bowl was good but honestly could've used way more granola and fruit for the price. The almond milk cappuccino was nice though.

Stumbled in here for a quick coffee and ended up browsing the shelves for way too long. They've got some really random international stuff you don't usually find around here. Took a take-away sandwich for later, pretty solid choice. Cafe corner is small but fine for a quick stop.

Decent pastries and bread, nicely made. Open kitchen is a nice touch. A bit pricey, but portions are generous.

Sat outside with a book and a coffee. The apple pie was decent, not too sweet. Caprese was fine too, tomatoes could've been riper though. Nice spot to just sit and watch people go by. Quiet enough to read, which is rare around here.

Nice vibe and comfy seats. Coffee and cake were solid, terrace is nice when the weather's good. Kids corner is a small plus.

Came here on a weekday afternoon and honestly loved the vibe. The interior is super cozy, like someone’s stylish living room. I grabbed a corner seat, read a bit, and just watched people pass by. Only downside: it got pretty noisy when more folks came in. Still, a nice little spot to chill with friends. ☕

Isa's still the best barista around—always remembers my order and knows her beans. Filter options were solid again today. Chill spot, good tunes.

Solid espresso, nice and strong. The place has that raw industrial look, fits the neighborhood. Pastries come from Petit Gateau, pretty good. Baristas know what they're doing. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the quality. Fine for a quick stop.

The loaded fries were really tasty and the place had a nice buzz. It does get busy though, so grabbing a table took a bit of waiting.

The flat white took a while and came out mostly foam, which was a bit disappointing. But their cinnamon roll is still one of the best around—soft, fresh, and not too sweet.

The truffle carpaccio bagel was really good. Flavor was on point and the price felt fair for what you get. The seating area has this calm vibe to it, just nice to sit there and take your time. Staff were friendly too, didn't rush us at all. Maybe not the most polished spot, but it works.
