The pork knuckle was the highlight - well-seasoned and a proper portion. Kids' meals were reasonably priced too, which is rare for this area. Service stayed friendly even when the lunch rush hit. Solid spot if you're after something hearty without the tourist markup.

The restaurant Ursprung offers a delightful atmosphere with its climbing plants and aquarium, making it a peaceful retreat in the bustling Dussmann KulturKaufhaus.

The schnitzel was solid and the portion generous. They had a decent Riesling by the glass that paired well with it. Place was busy but service kept up fine.

The seating area is pretty snug but that kind of adds to the charm. Wooden tables, soft lighting, felt like a proper little hideaway. Staff were friendly without hovering. Just a heads up, it can get a bit warm inside when it's busy. Still, a decent spot if you're after a relaxed meal.

The sushi here is genuinely some of the best I’ve had in Berlin, and the price didn’t hurt either. My rolls came with rice that fell apart a little, but honestly, the flavor made up for it. I’d go back just for that.

Been coming here for years, food never disappoints for the price. Venison shank with parsnips and beetroot puree was proper good, honestly as good as pricier spots.

Goat cheese salad was solid, and the farmer's breakfast hit the spot. Would've liked a better wine option with the meal, though.

Lovely little spot for natural wine. Staff clearly know their stuff and the food’s simple but tasty. Place is tiny though, gets packed fast — book a table first.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying a couple hours. Really calm vibe, plenty of seats. Pastries were solid, flaky and fresh. One barista actually remembered my usual order which caught me off guard. Nice little spot if you need to get some work done without the noise.

The grilled stuff here is really good - you can taste the wood fire in everything. Meats and veggies come out nicely charred. The spiced tea was a nice touch too.

The pho broth here is really something else—deep and rich, exactly what I needed on a cold day. Tried the tofu/kimchi/rice bowl too, solid choice. Location is super convenient, right in the middle of everything. Just remember it's cash only, which caught me off guard. Worth stopping by if you're in the area.

The sushi was fresh, no question. Had the salmon nigiri and it melted right on the tongue. Portions are solid for the price, not those tiny pieces you get at other spots. Beef stir-fried noodles were decent too, though a bit oily by the end. Would come back just for the fish.

The sushi here is consistently fresh—like, you can tell they go through their fish fast. Presentation was a step up from the usual neighborhood spot too. Had the omakase and it felt properly thought out, not just thrown on a plate. Place is small, so don't expect a quiet dinner, but that's fine by me.

The shawarma sandwich here is proper Beiruti style. Garlic sauce, green pickles, fries - simple and exactly how it should be.

Staff were super friendly and helped us pick our dishes in English. Food came out quick and fresh. Solid spot if you just want something easy and tasty with friends. 😊

We've been coming here for years now, and the food never disappoints. The garden seating is a nice touch when it's warm out. Staff still remembers us, which says a lot.

Cannelloni al forno was decent, cheesy and rich. Arancini were the better pick, crispy outside. Place itself is small and warm, fine for a quick dinner. Service was okay, nothing slow. Prices fair for the quality. Would come back if in the area, but not worth a special trip.

Decent spot, food was solid for the price. Staff actually talked to us, asked where we were from. Just bring cash, they don't take cards.

The outdoor seating is pretty chill, perfect for people-watching. Ramen was solid and the matcha shake hit the spot. Menu's huge, almost overwhelming, but good to have options.

The brunch spread was generous, everything tasted fresh. Coffee was solid too, not bitter. Place has a cozy feel, but it does get packed. We booked ahead, which was smart. Service was a bit slow when it got busy, but nothing terrible. Would come back for the food, just maybe earlier next time.

The Ali Baba Teller was a solid plate — plenty of food for the money. Portion size honestly surprised me. Didn't expect that much for the price. Quick service too, which I needed. Place was busy but I got my food fast. Fine for a lunch stop if you're hungry and in a hurry.

Came for the crispy duck, left happy. That skin was properly done, really tasty. Had it with a glass of red wine, which worked well. Place was quiet enough to talk, which I liked. Not the cheapest spot in the neighbourhood, but the duck makes it worth it. I'll be back when I fancy that again.

The food was decent but didn't live up to the hype. My main dish ran dry—not enough sauce for the rice. Nice themed spot though, and the staff were friendly. Would've liked a better wine pairing option to round it out.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Pho was solid, broth flavorful without being too heavy. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Prices fair for the portion. Not a destination spot, but if you're in the area and need something decent, it does the job.

The vegan burger was solid and the fries were okay, could've been crispier. €6.50 with chips and slaw is fair. Service felt friendly too.

The honey wine was really good, ordered it without expecting much. Also liked that they bring out coffee and popcorn at the end, such a nice touch. Owner seems genuinely friendly. Food was tasty too, though I mostly remember that wine. Would come back for that alone.

Tucked away with a cozy, rustic vibe. Service was friendly, and the salad tasted really fresh. A nice little find in the neighborhood.

The outdoor seating is nice, usually easy to get a spot. Food menu is pretty broad and everything tasted good. Grill plate came on a wooden board though, a bit odd but fine. Homemade iced tea was the highlight for me, perfect for summer. Bruschetta was solid too. Would come back for the terrace alone.

The fish is cooked fresh right after you order it — you can see the guys behind the counter prepping it. Quality’s definitely there, but portions run a bit small and it’s not the cheapest spot around. Heads up, some items aren’t available on Sundays.
