The Engelblau ice cream was pretty good—tasted like the real deal, not that artificial bubblegum stuff. Had it with a coffee with vanilla syrup, which was a nice touch. Place was fine for a quick stop. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but decent overall.

The vegan stuff is solid and the ice cream tastes homemade. Courtyard out back is a nice spot to sit. Staff were friendly enough.

The pistachio ice cream here is always fresh and creamy. I like that they use real ingredients, not too sweet. Been coming for years, still my favorite spot in Essen.

Ice cream's always on point, big scoops every time. Staff moves fast even when the line's out the door.

The ice cream here is really good, especially the fruit flavors and that vegan dark chocolate one. The cones are a nice touch too. Only downside is it gets pretty loud inside when it's busy, so I usually just grab a cone to go. Solid spot if you're in the neighborhood.

Coffee's solid. Ice cream too. Place is small though, so you might wait for a seat. Had the espresso and a scoop of vanilla, both did the job. Not a spot to linger if it's busy. Fine for a quick stop.

The tarts are still as good as the first time I tried them — light and not too sweet. Outdoor seating with blankets is a nice touch for colder evenings.

Came for the baklava and it didn’t let me down—sweet, fresh, just the right flakiness. Espresso was solid too. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Place was a bit busy mid-afternoon, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Would stop by again if I’m in the area.

Coffee was solid, but the sundae really stole the show. Presentation looked great, and it paired nicely with a late afternoon drink. Would come back for that.
