The building itself could use a little love, but the view of the harbor is just lovely. A very classic place. The staff were friendly and made sure I was comfortable at my table, which was nice.

Got here right at opening, still had to wait a bit. Line builds up fast. But the food came out quick once I ordered. Good for a fast lunch.

The book room in the back is so quiet, just perfect for reading. It felt like a little secret spot away from the main cafe. The light was soft, and the whole vibe was really relaxing.

The plain waffle here is the real deal. Made fresh, so it's crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy inside. I like that it's not overly sweet, lets the quality of the batter come through. A solid choice.

The tablet ordering is a nice touch, makes it simple. Saw the staff help an older gentleman at the next table, very patient and kind. Good to see.

The U-shaped counter is a great spot to watch them make the oden. Really felt that cozy Showa vibe.

The kyuman are a nice souvenir. The black tea flavor was my favorite, but the plain one was just okay.

A lovely family-run cafe. The strawberry and cheese crepe was the highlight for me. The strawberries were so fresh and ripe, and the cheese was light, not too heavy. It felt like a wholesome treat.

The Naoshima curry was light and tasty, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. I was still a little hungry after. The salad was nice though.

As a non-smoking spot, it's very comfortable. The servers were really attentive—noticed my water glass was low and refilled it without me asking. That kind of small thing makes a difference.

This restaurant is conveniently located next to Okayama Station, making it easy to access. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service, making it a great value for a fine dining experience.

First time trying mantis shrimp in vinegar here. The texture was so unique, like a cross between lobster and shrimp. Yellowtail sashimi was also super fresh.

Been coming here for years. The seasoning is always light, just enough to let the ingredients speak for themselves. It's the main reason I keep coming back.

The seafood here is very fresh, like you'd expect in Okayama. I had the tempura and simmered fish set. The portions are generous, which was nice. The seat was a bit hard for a long meal, but the service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped by for a coffee and tried their lemon soda. It was really refreshing, not too sweet. The pastries looked great, but I just had a croissant. It was warm and flaky, perfect with the drink. A nice, quiet spot to relax for a bit.

The Mont Blanc was seasonal chestnut flavor, and the plate had a little drawing of a Kamado. It was a nice, quiet afternoon.

The vegan course at this restaurant is a must-try! The skilled chefs create plant-based versions of traditional Japanese dishes that are not only delicious but also visually stunning.

Decent spot for a quick business lunch. The non-smoking area is well-separated, which I appreciate. Had the daily pasta set. Food was fine, service was efficient. Good for a quiet, focused meal between meetings.

The staff's attentive service truly enhanced our special celebration, making it even more memorable.

Been coming here for years. The 5,000 yen course with nomihodai is my go-to. Food's always served hot, and you really taste the season. It's that consistency I keep coming back for.
