The lamb tagine was so good I&#39;m still thinking about it. Perfectly spiced, fell right off the bone. The space is really pretty too, with all those plants. A solid find.

We booked for 12:30 thinking it would be quieter than 1&hellip; absolutely manic but the service was quick and the food was great.  Had a short wait in a queue for the carvery but it was worth it.  Food extremely fresh and staff busy swapping stuff over for freshly made food.Despite the business no issues and served good food quickly.  Pudding and bottomless drinks also great.They didn&rsquo;t actually have our Fork booking but got us in. No fault of the Fork - Toby had booked us somewhere miles away&hellip;

The vegetarian moussaka here is spot on. Layers of eggplant and lentils with a really creamy bechamel that&#39;s actually vegan. Menu makes it easy to see what&#39;s plant-based. They know their stuff if you ask about ingredients.

Helen at the bar is so friendly and really knows her stuff. She suggested a great non-alcoholic option for me.

The in-house brewery is a gem. I&#39;m always curious to see what&#39;s new on their taps. This time, a really crisp, citrusy pale ale was the standout &ndash; went perfectly with the burger. The staff know their stuff, too.

I have been coming to The Packe Arms for years.  The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch.  This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven&#39;t got room for a full sized pudding.  The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great.  I had elderflower and mint.

The hanging kebab is the star here. Cooked just right, really juicy and packed with flavour. We ordered one to share and it was plenty. A solid choice.

Elliot was a great server. The smokehouse platter for two is huge, we had to take some home. Good spot for a special occasion.

The pepper soup here is the real deal, packed with heat and flavour. The jollof rice had that perfect smoky depth you don&#39;t often find. Portions are huge, I couldn&#39;t finish mine. A solid spot for proper Afro-Caribbean cooking.
