The staff were just so lovely. They noticed my water was low before I did, and checked in without being overbearing. That kind of attentive service is a real treat. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Lovely vibe, but Ben the host really stood out. He was so attentive without being overbearing. Noticed we were done with our starters and had the mains timed perfectly. That kind of service makes all the difference.

The New Mill is a really well designed and spacious restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They have a good menu and the food is excellent. A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Lovely little family-run place. The set menu is good value and everything was presented so nicely. What I really appreciated was the host walking us to the door when we left – a very kind gesture.

A solid choice in Dunster. The chef greeting tables is a nice personal touch. Food was well-executed, particularly the lamb. Service was efficient. Good for a reliable business dinner. Slightly on the pricier side for the area, but you get what you pay for.

Portions are huge and nothing was overcooked. The salad was a nice touch.

They squeezed us in last minute, which was lovely. The pork medallions with the blue cheese sauce were spot on. Staff were friendly and just the right amount of attentive, made for a very relaxed meal.

Booked for a birthday, and the steak fajitas sizzler was spot on. Arrived quickly too, which was a lifesaver.

The owner’s so welcoming—it really made the evening. We felt looked after without it being fussy. Just a nice, relaxed vibe.

Bit of a trek down some narrow lanes to get here, but the quiet spot and the view are exactly why you'd come. Parking was fine, plenty of space.

Nice, bustling pub vibe. Staff were really friendly and kept the tables cleared even when it was packed. It did get super busy, so service slowed down a bit, but that's understandable on a Friday night.

Was here on a busy carnival day. Jon was great - super quick and friendly. Got my order sorted fast so I could get back to the crowds. Exactly what you need when you're in a rush.

The coffee here is properly strong, not just hot milk. Really appreciate that. Prices are also more reasonable than other places in town.

A really intimate spot. The staff were so attentive, it felt like they were just looking after our table. That personal touch made the evening.

Sebastien and his wife are lovely. The mussels were plump, sweet, and the cream sauce was rich. Burger's up there with the best I've tried. Solid vegan options as well. A proper little find.

Lovely suite, very peaceful. The dinner service was the highlight though. Had the roasted squash risotto - really well executed. A couple of the local wine pairings were spot on.

First time here and the vegan options really stood out. The seitan burger was actually satisfying, not just a token veggie patty. Nice to see a place that puts some thought into it.

Lovely, relaxed spot. The cream tea was nice, scones were generous and warm. The whole place just feels so calm, perfect for a quiet afternoon. The only thing was the clatter from the kitchen door every time it swung open, a bit jarring in that peaceful setting.

Came with a big group, everything arrived at the same time which was great. The seafood specials were spot on!

Owner's a really nice guy. Staff know their stuff too. Makes it a good spot for a quick lunch. Food comes out fast, which is what I need.

The roast was cooked beautifully, generous portions too. But it was the homely feel that really got me, like a cosy Sunday at home. That's the bit I'll remember.

The grilled fish was the highlight. It tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked. The setting in the Town Mill is nice, but honestly, I'm here for the fish. That's what you should order.

Lovely spot, very welcoming. Staff were great with our dog too. The wine list had some interesting local options, went well with the simple but tasty food. A relaxed evening.

Lunch stop. Pizza and calamari with Greek potatoes were solid. Quick and friendly service. Nice spot across from the museum.

Cozy spot with only a dozen seats. Service was attentive, which was good as we needed quick service before a meeting.

The brownies are so good, I had to get a box to take home. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I was picking out flavours. It's a lovely little spot for a treat.

Nick the owner is so lovely, really makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.
