Popped in for a pint on a chilly evening. The open fire was a proper treat. Had a local ale, which was spot on. Just what you want from a classic corner pub.

Took the family for lunch, the soft play area was a lifesaver. The cafe is bright and spacious. Had a decent glass of house red with my meal, which was a nice touch. Food was fine, nothing spectacular, but the kids were happy.

Mango and lemon sorbets are my go-to here. Really fresh and zingy, perfect for a quick, cooling bite. Service is always fast, which is key when you&#39;re in a rush.

The vegetable rogan josh was a solid choice. It had a nice depth of flavour and was quite satisfying. The portion was decent, too. A fine meal overall.

The young server was so good. Really polite and professional, made us feel so welcome. That kind of attentive service makes a difference.
