The fried calamari was a solid quick bite. Tender, not chewy at all. The batter was nice and crisp. The aioli sauce it came with was a good match. Got it to go and it held up.

The Taber Room is so quaint and charming. I loved the gorgeous bar, it had this warm glow in the evening. The staff were all very courteous. Made for a really nice atmosphere.

Sam was a fantastic waitress. She gave us some really good tips for things to do around Newport after our meal. Really appreciated her local knowledge! The food was solid, but her advice was the highlight.

Cozy little spot, good for a casual drink or a meal. The bar area is small but it actually makes the place feel more relaxed. I just grabbed a beer and a burger, solid choice for a chill evening.

Even sober, I still come here. Their jambalaya is one of the few that feels fresh and not overly heavy.

Dan and Dan are great! They made me this custom cocktail on a slow Monday, really fun to watch. It was the best part of my night in Newport. 🍸

Been coming here for years. Rebecca’s always on top of it—she knows how to pace a meal just right. The other day she brought a small beer sample to help me decide. That’s the kind of consistency that keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. I always ask for the patio table in the corner. The clam cakes are exactly how I remember them from my first visit—crispy outside, fluffy inside. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The coffee service is nice here. They keep your cup full and even offer a to-go cup for your iced coffee, which is a thoughtful touch. The cash discount is a plus. It's a solid spot for a casual meal.

I came for the half-price burger deal and it was a solid choice. The staff was really nice and checked in just the right amount, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Been coming here for years, and those duck-shaped mozzarella sticks are the reason. Always perfectly gooey inside with that crispy crust. It's the one thing I know I can count on every single time. Never disappoints.

The curry mussels were the highlight. The broth had a nice kick, and the mussels were plump and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

The outdoor fire pits are so cozy. I love that they have live music, it makes for a perfect evening with a cocktail.

The swordfish was cooked perfectly and the portion was huge. The bartender was slammed, but the food made up for the wait.

Stopped in for lunch, got the beef fried rice and wonton soup. The fried rice was really good, packed with flavor and not greasy at all. The soup was light and comforting. Solid spot for a quick, tasty meal.

The crab cakes were the highlight for me. They tasted so fresh, you could really tell the crab was high quality. The portion was generous too. I just wish there was a lighter side option to go with them, maybe a simple green salad.

The Bifana sandwich is solid. The marinated pork is tender and the roasted peppers add a nice touch. Good portion for the price.

Lobster roll was pretty good. Asked for no celery and they got it right. Not the best I’ve had, but it hit the spot on a lazy afternoon.

LGBTQ+ friendly spot with a cool, eclectic interior. Gets packed on weekends so be ready for a bit of a wait.

The sushi is always fresh, and I really like the Wayland roll. The tuna crisp roll is a nice choice too. It’s a comfortable spot for a quiet meal, and the staff is friendly.

Stopped by for lunch. The grilled octopus was tender, and the seafood platter had a nice variety. Ended with the butter cake, which was a sweet finish.

Been coming here for years. The lobster Rangoon is still the one thing I always order. It’s just consistently good. The presentation is always on point, which I appreciate. That’s really what keeps me coming back.

Got here just before 11:30 and snagged a table right away. The menu is huge, but I was drawn to the daily special – a really creative pasta dish. Service was quick before the crowd hit.

Been ordering takeout from this spot for years. The food's always hot and fresh when I pick it up. The meat sauce is the reason I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the happy hour oysters are still the main reason. They're always fresh, shucked right in front of you. That consistency keeps me coming back. The scallops are solid too, but honestly, I'm here for the oysters.

Janette at the bar is fantastic. She really knows her ingredients and makes a mean mocktail with fresh herbs.

The cinnamon French toast with caramelized bananas is so good for sharing with friends! Portions are huge, so definitely come hungry.

The chicken parm here is what I come for. The sauce is tangy and rich, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the chicken cutlet stays crispy underneath it all. It's a solid, classic version. The portion is huge, too.

The old bank vault behind the bar is such a neat detail. It gives the whole place a really unique, classy feel. I found it made the atmosphere more relaxed and interesting.

The Holy Smokes cocktail is the main event here. It's got this subtle, smoky mezcal base that doesn't overpower, balanced with a touch of citrus. Really well-crafted. The rest of the menu looked solid, but that one drink was perfectly executed.
