I had the grilled Shinshu herb chicken thigh, and it was so generous in portion that I couldn't finish it! The accompanying bread was also delicious.

Nice clean space with a modern Scandinavian feel. Took a client here for a quick lunch meeting. The restrooms were spotless, which is a plus. Good for casual business lunches.

The food was super tasty, but it felt a bit fancy for a casual dinner. The plating was beautiful, almost like art. I just wanted something more cozy, you know?

The picture menu in English was a lifesaver. I could just point and order without any stress. Staff were really sweet about it too.

A solid spot for a quick bite on the road. The vending machine outside is handy for grabbing a cold drink. I had a beer with my meal, and it hit the spot after a long drive. The restroom access is a definite plus when you're passing through.

Manyotei is a fantastic spot for authentic Mizusawa udon. The Manyo Gozen meal I ordered was delightful, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Came here after skiing, needed something warm. The pizza toast was so comforting, you could tell the ingredients were fresh. The caramel milk tea was a nice touch, not too sweet. The wood heater made it feel extra cozy on a cold day.

Tried their Italian Ramen, the spicy seafood soup spaghetti. Broth had a nice kick, noodles were cooked just right. Not bad for a quick lunch.

The Shinshu beef in the sukiyaki was so tender, with a gentle sweetness to the fat. The pumpkin chawanmushi was a lovely surprise, silky and warm. Just a really comforting bowl.

The Shinshu beef was surprisingly tender for a mall spot. Their house red was a nice, simple match for it. The set meal hit the spot, though the miso soup was a touch salty.

The dark chocolate soft serve was a nice surprise, not overly sweet. Enjoyed it after a long day of shopping. The sea salt caramel was also good, but I wish they had a dessert wine or a port pairing suggestion on the menu.

The restaurant offers a luxurious dining experience with beautifully presented dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing. The atmosphere is serene, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

The sashimi was the highlight. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a clean, sweet taste. I tried the local sake alongside it, which paired nicely. A solid choice for the quality of the seafood alone.

Stumbled upon this place behind the souvenir stalls. The apple pie dessert pizza was a fun idea, crispy and not too sweet. Paired it with a local craft cider they suggested—worked really well together. A nice, quiet spot for a relaxed bite.

The smoked pork tongue with mustard was a real find. The whole place has this great rustic, relaxed vibe. Perfect for when you just want a slow, comfortable meal without any fuss.

Been coming here for years. The snow crab pizza is always good, but the uni pasta this time was a bit too rich for me. Still, you can taste the quality in the ingredients.

The mushroom bread is something else. You can really taste the earthiness in it. The plates are like little paintings. A quiet spot in Karuizawa that feels thoughtful.
