Service was spot on. Our server knew the menu inside out, suggested a wine that went perfectly with our mains. Friendly without being overbearing. Just a really smooth, pleasant meal.

The bread is fantastic, really fresh and chewy. But they charged me a bit extra just to slice it and for the paper bag. Next time I&#39;ll bring my own bag to avoid that.

The lunch special was a nice change. Mini salmon poke bowl, shrimp gyoza, miso soup. I had a crisp white wine with it&mdash;worked well with the salmon. Simple and satisfying.

The portions are huge, which is always a plus. I had the grilled salmon, and the flavor was spot-on. The place looks nice too, they&#39;ve updated it but kept some of the old character.

The local ingredients really shine, especially in the seasonal vegetable plate. You can taste the care in every bite.
