Parking was a lifesaver for our group. The lot is right there, super handy. It did feel a bit tight squeezing in, but hey, beats circling the block.

The texture of the ice is so fine, it melts like fresh snow. I really appreciate that it's not overly sweet, allowing the natural flavors to shine through.

The Galette des Rois here is my favorite. The pastry is so fine and the aroma is just perfect for the season.

Perfect for a post-Nara Park hangout! The space is huge and clean, so our group of six could actually talk without shouting. The staff was super chill about us lingering a bit after we finished our udon.

Heiji-kun ice cream is super cute, just like the photos. Comes with their little umbrella cracker. Perfect for a quick, sweet treat. The cafe is connected to the old sweet shop, so you know it's legit. Got mine and was out in under 5 minutes.

The anime collab menu was a fun surprise! Got the special set, and the portion was massive. Honestly, couldn't finish it all. Perfect for when you're really hungry and want something different.

I had a wonderful anniversary lunch at this restaurant with a stunning view of Lake Biwa. The staff surprised us with a special anniversary plate, which made our day even more memorable.

The soft serve line moves fast even when it's packed with tour groups. Perfect for grabbing a quick treat with friends before heading out. The green tea flavor was nice and creamy.

The matcha soft serve was spot on — intense flavor, not too sweet. Just right for a hot afternoon.

The owner's family grows the tea themselves. You can taste it in the matcha latte. Really smooth, not bitter at all. The guy studied in the US, super chill to chat with.

Been coming here for years after visiting the ruins. Always get the terrace seat. It's just quiet. Staff remembers my usual order, which is nice. A solid spot that hasn't changed.

Came here with a couple friends. The roast beef was so good we ended up ordering extra rice to go with it! A solid spot for a casual group dinner.

The charcoal-grilled pork here has this amazing smoky aroma. It goes so well with the chewy flat noodles!

Chocolate cake was really nice, and the cold brew hit the spot. Good little spot for a sweet treat.

The dog mascot is a nice touch, makes the place feel relaxed. I've been a few times, it's just a comfortable spot to grab a bite. The vibe is good, not trying too hard.
