The breakfast set is a steal at 550 yen. I went for the sandwich and swapped the coffee for a matcha latte, just paid a little extra. A solid way to start the day.

Been coming here for years. The kitchen's always on point, even when they're packed. Food's out fast, never had to wait long. That's why I keep coming back.

The view of the trains is so relaxing. I had a glass of their house red, which paired nicely with just watching the world go by. A quiet spot to unwind. The phone chargers are a thoughtful bonus.

Been coming here for years, love that it's a neighborhood staple. The owner is always so kind. What keeps me coming back is the freshness of their ingredients, you can really taste it in the simple snacks. A reliable spot for a light, quality bite.

I had the Hana Kaiseki course meal, and every dish was delightful. The tempura sauce was so good that I couldn't resist finishing it all!

Came here for lunch with a couple friends. The weekday special set was huge! Got the fried chicken and dim sum combo. So filling and the price was really good. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

The unagimo don was a fun find! Big chunks of eel liver, super rich flavor. Perfect for sharing with a friend who likes trying new things. A bit heavy for a solo meal though.

The set menu was more than enough for me. I enjoyed the fried rice, and the house wine they suggested paired nicely with it. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The shredded swimming crab was really interesting, never had anything like it. The sake list is huge, but I just had one glass. Place is pretty big and open.

The grilled Iga beef set was so tender. Really enjoyed the comfortable booth seating, made the meal relaxing.

The beef bowl here is pretty good. The stew is sweet and savory, and the soft egg on top mixes in nicely. Comes with coffee and a little side. Saw a lot of locals eating it too.

Imai Zen's set lunch is a solid deal. The tempura was freshly fried, nice and crisp. You get a good variety of sides with rice and soba too. For the price, the portion is quite generous.

The Yamato black tea here is from Nara, and the aroma is lovely. I had it with their warabi mochi, a nice pairing. What stood out was how comfortable the chairs were—I could sit and enjoy my tea for a long time without feeling rushed. A very pleasant spot.

The Nagasaki Champon is packed with fresh veggies. Generous portion, and free extra noodles. Their house sake was a nice, simple pairing.

Stumbled upon this place in Naramachi. Much quieter than the park area, which was a relief. The udon was simple but good, broth had a nice depth. Just what I needed after walking around.
