Roast chicken was the move. Skin so crispy, meat just fell off the bone. Juicy. Whipped potatoes were a perfect match. That’s it.

The deck has a great view of the water, especially around sunset. It's a nice, relaxed spot to eat.

The hush puppies were a standout. Sweet, almost dessert-like, and fried just right. They paired surprisingly well with a crisp lager. A solid choice to start.

I'm a sucker for their custard. The daily rotating flavor is a nice touch - keeps me coming back to see what's new. Sundaes are solid, shakes are thick. Just wish they had a few more classic options on the menu.

Service is solid. Server knew the menu well, made good suggestions. Food came out at a reasonable pace. No complaints on that front.

The fried grouper basket was spot on, crispy and tender. The booths are super comfy, which made for a really relaxed lunch.

Found this spot near the beach and loved their Pad Thai. It had that homemade, just-right balance of sweet and savory. Sat outside, which was perfect. The noodles were a bit soft for my taste, but the flavor was spot-on.

The sea bass Oscar was incredible. Perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich but not heavy. Felt like a cozy dinner at a friend's place. Service was friendly and on point.

Liz handled the walk-ins like a pro, even in the off-season. I swapped something on the caprese salad, and it still tasted good. Solid service, no fuss.

The biscuits and gravy were spot on. Really hit the spot for a cozy morning. The breakfast potatoes had that perfect crispy edge. Just a nice, simple start to the day.

They get your order out fast, perfect after a beach day. The portions are huge for the price. I was impressed with their beer list, found a nice local IPA that went great with the fish tacos. Solid spot.

The crab was steamed, not smothered in sauce. Felt like a healthier choice than the usual buffet stuff. Pretty decent.

The pulled pork sandwich here is a solid choice. The vinegar-based barbecue sauce really cuts through the richness. Sides are generous, especially the coleslaw. Portion sizes are big for the price.

The pork plate with that vinegar sauce is the move. Tangy and savory, cuts through the richness perfectly. Hush puppies are crispy outside, fluffy inside. Got my order in and out in like 15 minutes.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Service was fast, got my order in and out without a wait. The outdoor seating is a plus on a good day. Food was solid, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Good for when you're in a hurry.

Sat outside on the deck for dinner. That view of the bay is something else, especially as the sun went down. The whole vibe was just right.

The server was so sweet, just came over and started telling us about the chef's favorites. Didn't even have to ask. It felt really thoughtful.

Stopped in for a drink and ended up ordering the mushroom tacos. That jalapeño passion fruit margarita was a nice kick. Ceviche was solid too. Good spot for a casual bite.

Our server knew the menu well and pointed out the freshest ingredients in each dish. Really helpful for making a healthy choice!

The vibe here is just right—not too stuffy but still feels a bit special. Perfect for when you want a nicer dinner without all the fuss.

The French toast bagel was a solid choice. Not too sweet, which I liked. The strawberry cream cheese was fresh and really worked with it. A nice, different take on a breakfast classic.

The crab cakes are all lump meat, no filler at all. I was really impressed with that. My grilled salmon was also cooked just right and had a nice flavor. A comfortable spot for a quiet dinner.

A bit of a splurge but you can taste it in the food. Went with the fresh catch again, and it was spot-on. They really know how to handle fish here.

Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese to start. The batter was light, not greasy at all. Really enjoyed the flavor combo. Solid choice.

Love grabbing a seat at the counter here. Watching them shuck oysters right in front of you is half the fun. The seafood is fresh and the prices are fair. It's a small spot, but the vibe is just right.

The calzone was huge, easily enough for two. Their house red was a solid, no-fuss pairing for it.

Got my pizza delivered right on time, which is a win around here. Pepperoni and ham & pineapple were both solid, hot and crispy. Perfect for a quick lunch.

Hatteras clam chowder was the star. Creamy, loaded with clams. That's the move. Chocolate chip pecan pie was good, but honestly, just get the chowder.

The apple pie ice cream was the standout. It's creamy and actually tastes like the real thing. The rum raisin was fine too. A solid spot for a unique scoop.

The milkshakes are as good as everyone says. I really appreciated that they use real, fresh fruit in them. It was a nice, creamy treat that paired well with my lunch.
