Mick&rsquo;s a proper host&mdash;made sure our glasses were never empty. Wings were solid, though I&rsquo;d have liked a better wine list to match. Still, good vibe for a casual night out.

Open late when most places on the island are shut, so it fills up fast. Music was decent, just the sound quality could be better.

The food was solid&mdash;huge portions, and the aubergine dip really stood out. Greek salad with the local cheese was fresh too. Place gets a bit chaotic though, tables are close together and it&rsquo;s loud. Not a spot for a quiet meal, but the flavors made up for it. I&rsquo;d go back for the dips alone.

We&#39;ve been coming to Naxos for years and this bar is still one of our favorites. The drink list is huge and everything is kept really clean. Owner and staff are always friendly, which makes a difference. Only thing is it can get a bit busy later in the evening, but that&#39;s probably a good sign.
