Battered sausage and chips with the Irish curry sauce. The batter's always so crispy, and that curry is properly thick, really hits the spot. Got the meal deal with a drink, can't go wrong.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfasts are always spot on. The eggs are cooked just right every single time, and the bacon is never greasy. It’s the one thing I know I can count on.

The staff were so kind when they were out of the quinoa salad. They offered a lovely lentil dish instead and gave me a larger portion. Really appreciated that.

Lovely spot for a village pub. The lamb burger was spot on, and the cheese chips were a nice touch. My steak came with a decent red wine suggestion that really worked. Kids ate well too. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the location.

Been coming here for years, and their curry is still the best in town. Always packed, but they never rush you.

Service is much quicker now, and the place feels cleaner. The new team is definitely making a difference.

The flat white with coconut milk is spot on. App ordering for pickup is a breeze.

Lovely lunch spot. The salmon and chive omelette was just right, really fresh and light. Side salad had a nice little kick to it too. Just a nice, quiet vibe for a weekday.

Been coming here for years, and the relaxed, airy vibe is what keeps me coming back. It's just a really nice spot to unwind with a coffee, or settle in for a proper meal. Always feels the same, which I appreciate.

Service was spot on when we had a hiccup with our order. Really appreciated how they handled it.

The Sunday roast is my go-to for catching up with friends. The portions are huge and you get a bit of everything. Great for sharing!

The 40oz tomahawk was the star here - cooked just right. Staff were really friendly too.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Got the grilled chicken sandwich, came out fast. Bread was fresh, chicken was decent. Good portion for the price. Place is clean and quiet, easy to relax for a bit. Solid choice if you're in a hurry.

Staff were super friendly even when it was heaving. Got seated quicker than expected, which was a relief with the kids. Felt like a proper family spot.

Lovely little spot for breakfast. The pastries are top-notch, and they had a nice selection of local roasts to go with them.

Great service for our big group, they kept the meat coming without us even asking. The Picanha was spot on.

This Toby Carvery offers a lovely breakfast with beautifully cooked food and great value, making it a regular spot for me.

Popped in for a late dinner. The sea bass was spot on - skin nice and crispy, fish itself was tender. Decent sized portion too. Staff were friendly, didn't have to wait around for anything.

Carbonara was solid, probably the best I've had locally. Chef came out for a quick chat, which was a nice touch. Service was efficient. Good spot for a reliable business lunch.

The cocktails here are a real standout. Had the "Cardiff Fog" on the heated terrace last night - really clever mix of flavours, perfectly balanced. You can tell they put thought into the drinks.

The chicken tikka was spot on, really tender. Paired it with a crisp lager, which cut through the richness of the butter chicken nicely. Service was friendly, though the pacing between courses felt a bit rushed.

Had a solo dinner at the bar. The staff were genuinely lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. The service made it easy to relax with a glass of wine. Found the wine list a bit limited for my taste, but they knew their stuff. Good spot.

Been here a few times since it opened. The Crown Cream cocktail is a solid choice, always well-made. Desserts are decent, especially if you've got a sweet tooth. The kids' ice cream pot is a nice idea, keeps them happy. It's a reliable spot for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years, and that open fire is the main reason. It’s always roaring, perfect for a pint on a cold evening. Just feels like the proper, cozy pub experience you don’t get everywhere anymore.
