We sat outside and it was fine, though the terrace is right on the street so you get a bit of traffic noise. The waitress was really sweet and didn't rush us at all. Mussels were good, I had the Provencal one. Plenty of sauce for the fries. Busy place, but we didn't feel squeezed in.

Big terrace, right by Blaak station. Beer list changes often, decent pick. Weekend was packed though, had to squeeze in. Bit pricey for what it is.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Steak was solid, cooked right. Place is easy to find, modern inside. Staff didn't keep me waiting long. Good spot if you need a decent meal without fuss. A bit pricey for lunch maybe, but fine.

The mushroom risotto really surprised me. Rich flavor and a decent portion for the price. Walked in alone, no reservation, and they just let me pick a spot. That's all I needed. Place was a bit quiet but fine for a solo meal.

Nice spot with a relaxed vibe. Good range of bitterballen and a rotating tap list that keeps things interesting. The bar area is pretty chill.

Solid spot for a quick coffee and bite. Relaxed vibe, easy to hang around longer than I meant to. Service was quick enough for a lunch break.

Ask for the English menu at the bar—took a sec but they were helpful. Food was fresh, flavors came through well. Solid spot for a quick meal.

Stopped by for a quiet afternoon drink. They brew their own beer here, which I liked. Had a pale ale that was fresh and not too heavy. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was pretty busy even early, but the service kept up fine. A good spot if you're after something local and unpretentious.

Stopped by for a drink, place is tiny but has that cozy vibe. Cocktails were solid, nothing fancy but well made. The little menu with the sweet/sour and strong/light chart is actually helpful. Got a bit loud later in the evening but still fine for chatting.

Dropped by for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They’ve got a solid mix of Dutch and Belgian beers, both on tap and bottled. Staff offered a taste before I picked, which was handy. Place felt pretty relaxed, nothing fancy. Good spot if you’re nearby and just want a beer without overthinking it.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night. Beer was solid, place wasn't too busy so we could actually talk without shouting. Service was quick enough. Nothing fancy but it does the job for a casual drink. Prices are fair for the area. Probably stick to this spot when I don't feel like going far.

The terrace sits right on the canal, and you get a proper view of the old facades while you eat. That alone makes it worth stopping by. I had the apple pie with a gin and tonic — solid combo, nothing fancy. Prices felt fair for Leiden, though the seating is a bit tight if you're there during busy hours. Fine for a casual stop.

Decent brown cafe with a solid beer list. Sat outside, good for people-watching. Nothing fancy but fine for a sunny afternoon.

Solid spot on the Oude Markt. Burger was decent but the bun was a bit hard, few onion skins on it. Had a nice glass of red with it though, went down well. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Came for one drink, stayed till closing. The crowd was lively, bartenders friendly enough. But honestly, the bitterballen were the real highlight—crispy outside, warm and gooey inside. Had a second round just for those. Place gets loud later, but that’s fine when the food’s this good.

The terrace was lovely and the food really tasty. Staff checked in just enough, not hovering. Only wish they had more options for dessert.

Been to a few whiskey tastings around town, but this one stood out. The host actually knew his stuff, walked us through each bottle without rushing. Snacks were solid too, not just an afterthought. Came here with a couple of friends last month and we're still talking about it. Place gets busy later in the evening, so grab a spot early if you want a proper chat with the staff.

Been coming here for a while now, and the meter-long nacho platter still gets me every time. It’s just a solid sharing dish, loaded enough for two people. Staff’s always on top of things too, never had to wave anyone down. Not the cheapest spot, but you get what you pay for.

The mussels & frites were spot on, really fresh and the portion was generous. Good beer list too. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy. Solid spot.

Owner picked our dishes for us. Lamb was the highlight, prawns done just right. That mushroom gratin though - really good. They even had gluten-free bread which was nice for my friend. Place was busy but we got a table fine. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Nice relaxed pub with a proper warm vibe. The owners clearly care about what they serve and were happy to talk through the drink options. Good spot if you're into trying something a bit different.

Burgers were massive and filling, but mine came out a bit dry. Could've used extra sauce. Service was on point though. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Nice spot for drinks and small plates. Terrace is the real winner here, super chill vibe. Burgers though? I'd skip those, not worth the money.

The meatballs were proper Spanish style, you can tell they put real care into them. Place is tiny though, so definitely book ahead.

The interior has that sleek, high-end vibe without feeling stuffy. We sat by the window and the light was really nice. Drinks list is solid, tried a couple of cocktails. Food was good too, especially the appetizers. Just remember to bring cash, they don't take cards. That caught me off guard at the end.

Food was decent, nothing fancy but cooked well. Staff really looked after us. Sat in the garden bit which was nice on a sunny afternoon. Prices are fair for what you get. Not a place I'd drive across town for, but if you're nearby it does the job. Maybe a bit busy at lunchtime.

The wine tasting was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Tried a few things I normally wouldn't pick, and the guy explaining knew his stuff.

Stopped here for lunch before catching the boat. Location is super handy, right between the station and the docks. Service was friendly and easygoing, no fuss. Sat near the window, plenty of room. Food came out quick enough. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a relaxed bite. 👍

We stopped by for dinner and the wine list really stood out. Staff let us try a glass before deciding, which I appreciated. Portions were generous for the price. I had the grilled veggie plate—fresh, not overdressed. Simple and satisfying. Maybe a bit busy around 7, but fine.

Stopped by for a cider and ended up staying longer than planned. The view really is something else after dark. Food menu’s got a decent range—went for the Middle Eastern plate, pretty good. Cider selection is solid too. Only thing is it gets a bit busy later on, but that’s about it. Fine spot overall.
