The cocktails are consistently good here, and the bartender remembered my usual order from last time. That kind of attention keeps me coming back.

This place is a hidden gem! The combination of delicious food, stunning views, and friendly service makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

Restaurant in InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam

Right on the water, can't beat the spot. Sat outside, nice breeze. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Service took a while though, place was packed. Probably better to go when it's less busy.

Nice little spot, food came out fast and was solid. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot for a quick lunch. Prices are fair for what you get.

Stopped by for a beer—good selection and the old-pub vibe is solid. Staff friendly enough. Didn’t eat, menu looked average. Fine for a quick drink if you’re nearby.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The bar itself is really clean, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for the area too. There's a resident cat wandering around, super friendly, made the place feel homely. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's probably a good sign.

Been coming here on and off for years. Place hasn't changed much since the 70s, which is fine by me. Wood's all worn in, feels lived-in. Beer list is decent, nothing fancy. Sat outside last week, nice spot to watch people go by. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the atmosphere.

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The cocktails were outstanding, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting.

Stumbled on this canal-side spot and grabbed a burger. Patty was handmade, cooked just right. 80s music playing in the background was a nice touch. 🍔

Stopped by for a drink on a rainy evening. Place is small but has that proper Amsterdam vibe. Bartender knew what they were doing, my cocktail was balanced and strong. Prices are what you'd expect around here, not cheap but fair for the quality. Would've liked a bit more space but that's the charm I guess.

Lovely old brown cafe, you can really feel the history here. The wisteria outside is gorgeous. Service was friendly and quick. A proper Amsterdam spot.

Decent pub, service was friendly enough. But honestly didn't feel very Irish to me. If you want the real trad atmosphere, probably look elsewhere.

Stopped by for a quick drink, ended up staying way longer than planned. Board games kept us entertained and the staff was chill. Solid spot if you're not in a rush.

Nice spot with the glass ceiling letting in lots of light. Aperol Spritz was a decent deal too. Good place for a relaxed evening.

Chill spot with good music and friendly staff. Drinks are a bit pricey but the vibe makes up for it. Nice place to hang out with friends.

Nice spot for a casual drink by the water. The calamari and fries were solid, plus the canal view is a big win for a chill hangout.

Great as always! My go to place for a beer and some typical Dutch snacks ????????????????????????

Great spot to watch a match. Loads of screens and the crowd really gets into it during big games. Mixed locals and expats which makes it fun.

Stopped by for a beer along the canal, ended up staying for lunch. Grilled cheese with Gouda was simple but done right. Service was quick, no fuss. Prices fair for the location. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Came back two nights in a row, that says enough. Stan and Bella remembered us, which was nice. Bitterballen were proper, crispy outside and warm inside. Local beer hit the spot. Place has a relaxed vibe, not too loud. Maybe slightly slow service at the end, but honestly didn't mind. Just easy.

Nice spot with a solid view and a lively mix of people. Ordering via QR code was easy enough, and the self-service setup didn’t bother me. I grabbed a glass of their house red to go with the bitterballen—decent pairing, nothing fancy. Fries came out a little limp, but the vibe made up for it. Fine for a casual drink stop.

Nice little spot right by the metro. Tried the Peking duck bitterballen — pretty solid choice. Terrace was chill for an afternoon drink.

Tried the fish and chips and the steak and chips. Both were solid, came out fast. Guinness was decent but the head was way too big, felt like half the pint was foam. Fish batter was crispy though, and the steak was cooked proper. Place was busy for a Tuesday, but service kept up fine.

Good spot for a casual bite. The ribs were tender, meat just fell off the bone. Service was friendly and left us alone to enjoy our meal.

Came here for the first time last week and honestly the sunset view over the Rhine is the thing. We sat outside, watched the light hit the water, and just didn’t want to leave. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but that setting does a lot of the work. Would go back just for that.

Came for the beer selection, stayed for the terrace vibe. Really solid choice if you're into local brews. Staff was quick even though it got busy later. Only downside, my glass took a while to arrive, but the atmosphere made up for it. Nice spot to just hang out for an hour or two.

The apple pie with a cappuccino is solid. Weekend mornings get busy though, so don't expect a quiet spot.

Came here to try some local Amsterdam beers and it didn’t disappoint. The place has a chill vibe, felt pretty authentic, not too touristy even though it’s central. Good mix of people. Prices are fair for the size of the pours, which I appreciated. Would stop by again if I’m in the area.

Came for the bitterballen and a beer. Those little fried balls were properly hot, crispy outside, soft inside. Mustard had a nice kick. Didn't care much about the pool tables upstairs, just here for the food. Portion was decent for the price. Would grab another round of those before heading out.

Came here a few nights for drinks while we were staying nearby. It’s a small family-run place, super cozy and they don’t make you feel like a tourist at all. Prices are really decent too. We ended up chatting with the owner one evening, which was a nice touch. Not fancy, but that’s kinda the charm. Would pop back in if I’m ever in the area again.
