Booked the private area for a party. Lizzy and the team sorted everything out smoothly. The food from the chefs was good, and honestly, the cost for the whole setup felt very reasonable for what we got.

Been coming here for years. The game room's always a hit with the group, keeps everyone happy.

A welcome stop after cycling. The beer garden was lovely for a pint in the sun. Staff were friendly, and it seems a good place to catch a match.

Been coming here for years. The service is always spot on, never feels rushed. It's just consistent, which is what keeps me coming back.

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They really took their time to explain the menu and made us feel right at home. Service was spot on, not rushed at all. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe thanks to them.

Evening visit, and lots of the menu was sold out. Bit of a shame, but what we had was tasty and came out steaming hot.

The fish and chips were spot on - lovely and crispy. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were really friendly. My only small note is that the seating was a bit snug for a longer meal, but it was still a nice, easy lunch.

The bartender was so nice, really made our little group feel welcome. Everyone working there seems genuinely friendly, which is nice when you're just catching up with friends.

Nice little pub tucked away from the main road. Tanya, the manager, was really welcoming – felt comfortable straight away. Had a decent pint and a pie, which was pretty good. Just a bit on the pricey side for what it is.

Came with a group that had all sorts of dietary needs. The menu had clear labels, which was a lifesaver. Everyone got a proper, filling meal. Honestly, that's rare. We liked it so much we went back later that week.

The front garden is a total sun trap. Grabbed a pint out there on a sunny afternoon and it was just the spot. Could've sat for hours. Nice little escape.

The house-brewed pale ale here is the standout. It’s got a really crisp, hoppy bite that cuts through, not too heavy. Perfect with the salted nuts they put out. The stout was a bit too sweet for my taste, though.

Lovely garden for lunch on a sunny day. Plenty of seating. My only gripe? The portion size for the fish and chips felt a bit small for the price. Still, a nice spot to sit outside.

The fish was fresh, no doubt. But for the price, the portion felt a bit small. The lemon soufflé was nice, though.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of fresh fruit and options. They were a bit slow to refill the hot items, though.

Loved the old-world charm here. We grabbed a seat outside overlooking the square on a sunny afternoon. The worn wooden tables and the quiet buzz just felt right. A lovely, timeless spot.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The outdoor garden is perfect on sunny days, and they've got heaters for when it cools down.

This place is a regular for me now. The staff are so friendly, and Jack in particular always remembers my usual order. The food is consistently tasty and the prices are very fair. A really comfortable spot to unwind.

Lovely old building, feels very spacious. Just a heads up that getting a table for a bigger group at busy times might be a bit of a wait.

Breakfast was solid - loads of choice and everything cooked properly. The harbour view from the room was a nice touch.

Stopped by for a quick drink and the staff were so nice. They let me try a sip of their house lager before I ordered a pint. The vibe in here is just really relaxed and friendly.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!

Great spot by the seafront. Drinks are cheap and they've got a massive selection.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. The daily special was a proper portion for the price, really hit the spot. The chef clearly knows their stuff, everything was cooked just right. Good value for a proper meal out.

The steak and ale pie was a proper hearty portion, just what you want on a chilly evening. Gravy was rich and deep. Paired it with a robust red from their list, which cut through the richness nicely. Solid pub grub.

The quiz night was a blast! The host kept things moving and the questions were actually fun, not just random trivia. We didn't win bingo, but the whole vibe was so energetic. Definitely a solid spot for a laugh with mates.

Felicity was an outstanding hostess during our visit! The service was fast and friendly, making our brunch enjoyable. I would definitely come back for more!

The Sunday roast is solid - good portion, tender meat, proper gravy. Had a local ale with it. Service was efficient, got us in and out in a reasonable time for a Sunday.
