Really enjoyed the vibe here, very lively. Our waitress was spot on, gave some great advice. The 2-for-1 cocktail deal was a nice touch – the old fashioned I had paired really well with the spicy chicken starter. Solid spot for a casual drink.

The lamb shank was the highlight for me. It was huge and cooked just right. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. Just a heads up, the portions are very generous, even the starters.

Great late-night spot. The bar staff really know their stuff, and the cocktails are spot on. Good vibe with the music.

A handy place to pull in with the EV. The vegan burger was decent, and I had a pint while waiting for the car to charge. The high ceilings and big windows made it feel quite airy, which was nice.

Love that they let you mix ribs and calamari with a salad.

Tried their own-brand wine at the restaurant. It's a nice touch and really tasty for the price point.

Bottomless brunch is a solid deal for a quick bite. Good spread of drinks, food comes out fast and looks decent. That welcome glass of fizz is a nice start. Gets busy, but service keeps up.

Been coming here for years, and the bottomless brunch is always solid. The mini plates, like the Caesar salad and chorizo, are consistently good. Drinks get topped up quickly, which is all I really ask for. It's just reliable.

Sat in the yurt out back. Fun spot for a quick lunch. Food came fast, which I needed. Portions are a bit small, but tasted good. Got the job done.

The fish and chips were the highlight for me. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish inside was so fresh and flaky. It felt like a proper, well-made meal. The portion was generous, too. A really good, classic pub dish done right.

We booked the loft space for a quiet dinner. The staff were really lovely and attentive, which made the whole evening feel so relaxed. A very comfortable spot to unwind.

The Sunday roast is the one to get. The beef was cooked just right, and the plate was absolutely loaded with everything. Hot and hearty. The apple and rhubarb crumble afterwards was a nice touch.

Lovely local pub, very family and dog friendly. The massive garden is a real plus. I appreciated that the kids' menu had some simple, fresh options like carrot sticks and hummus alongside the usual fare. The garden made for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

Nice spot for a family lunch. The staff handled our big group really well, even with a couple of dietary requests. The food was hot and tasty. I appreciated the wine list – found a decent red that went nicely with the roast.

The cocktails are expertly made, and the service is personable. It's a lovely place for a drink before or after dinner, with an exceptional cheese board.

Been staying here for years, and the rooms are always spotless. They never feel tired or worn out, which is a big deal for me. Everything you need for a night is right there, no fuss. It’s that consistency that keeps me coming back.

The burger was the standout. Juicy patty cooked just right, not dry at all. The bun was soft and held together well. Chips were crispy and properly seasoned. That's what I came for.

Nice to see this pub under new management. The homemade bread was a highlight, really good. Prices are decent too. It's become a reliable spot for a meal when I'm in the area.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The burger was spot on, and the proper chips were really good – proper crispy outside, fluffy inside. Had a pint of the local ale with it, which was just right. Solid lunch.

Decent portions, cooked nicely. The staff were friendly and kept an eye on things without hovering. It was a solid, pleasant meal.

Staff were really nice. The Thai curry had that proper kick to it, just like I remember from trips. Fish and chips were decent too, crispy outside. Solid spot for a casual bite.

As a coeliac, I felt safe here. Bryony really knew her stuff, explained the kitchen's allergy procedures clearly. Got the gluten-free fish and chips, no issues. Quick service too, which I appreciate.

First time here. The steak was the best I've had, period. Cooked perfectly, incredible flavour. That's all I needed to know. Will be back for that.

Stumbled upon this place and now it's a regular stop in Portsmouth. The atmosphere is just right—cozy and relaxed, with comfortable seating that makes you want to linger. We've enjoyed everything we've tried from the menu.

Great decaf espresso martini here! The bar staff really knew their stuff. Beer selection looked solid too. A nice, quiet spot for a proper drink after work.

Stopped in before the ferry. The food was good, solid value. They even brought a water bowl for our dog, which was a nice touch. The house red was a bit simple, but it did the job with the pasta. Would pop in again.

Got a Sunday carvery table without booking, lucky! Portions are huge, the beef and pork were really good. Roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese too. With the senior discount, it's a steal.

Took a group of 9 for Sunday lunch, kids included. Staff handled it well on a busy day. Good amount of space, not cramped like some places. Food portions were generous, decent choice. Parking was straightforward.

Came for lunch before the rugby. The Six Nations special menu had an Italian burger with pizza toppings. Honestly, for the price, the portion was a bit on the small side. It was tasty and cooked well, but I was still a little peckish afterwards.

The gluten-free pasta was a standout. They've got a few vegan choices too, which is nice. The pasta itself had a good texture, not mushy at all. Sauce was simple but flavourful.
