I had a delightful experience with the kaiseki lunch. The variety of dishes was satisfying, and the service was attentive, making for a relaxing dining experience.

The grilled offal was the star for me. The outside had this perfect crisp, and the inside stayed so juicy. You can really tell they know what they're doing with it. A nice find!

Unique concept. You get a pot of dashi to adjust the ramen broth yourself. Good for lighter tastes. Soup was a bit too salty before I diluted it though.

The staff made cotton candy for the kids, which was a nice touch. The children's menu pricing is fair. It was a comfortable place for a relaxed meal.

The veggie miso ramen was a solid choice. The cabbage and bean sprouts on top were fresh and gave a good crunch. It cut through the rich broth nicely. A bit more noodles would've been perfect, but the balance of flavors was spot on.

Been coming here for years. The walnut maki is still my favorite. It’s got a nice crunch and the flavor is just right. The menu is huge, which is great, but sometimes I spend too long deciding! A solid, reliable spot.

The dishes at Kappo Watanabe are a true delight, showcasing the exquisite flavors of Niigata ingredients. Each meal is a unique experience, and the presentation is both elaborate and enjoyable.

The restaurant offers an exquisite lunch course with unique dishes like beef cheek braised in red wine and pork shoulder braised in white wine, both of which were absolutely delightful.

Been coming here for years, and their lunch set is always solid. The twice-cooked pork hits the spot every time. Love that they still do free refills on rice and miso soup. It's just a reliable, filling meal.

The steamed chicken is a must-try. The broth is so flavorful, and letting the raw cabbage soak it all up is the best part. It's a different, really satisfying taste compared to the fried version.

Get there early, it's popular! The ingredients are so fresh, you can really taste the difference.
