The buffet&#39;s meat selection was the real highlight for me. Everything was so tender, especially the roast beef. Just kept going back for more of that.

Food was excellent.  Appreciated a different menu than most other restaurants in town. The lamb shank option was excellent

To watch the chefs plate the food is like watching artists at work.  Plus such an imaginative menu!  Never miss a chance to dine here when in Avignon.

We really appreciated the creativity and willingness to adapt the evening&#39;s menu to my wife&#39;s food restrictions.  The staff were tremendous and willing to engage in a bit of light-hearted banter during the evening.  Altogether, a tremendously enjoyable experience.

L&rsquo;Auberge de Cassagne has been a great discovery. The cuisine was excellent, elegant and elaborated. The ambience on the terrace was very pleasant with a remarkable service and kind personnel. Thank you for the lovely time!

The food was amazing! The service was excellent as well. It was our 2nd time dining there and ir did not disappoint either time..

We looked at the menu online and had picked out two items which attracted us to the restaurant ( anchovy starter and duck main dish).  Unfortunately both of the items were gone from the menu at the restaurant.  We 0rdered the sliced beef on arugula, and although tasty, the meat was a bit tough in spots.   But overall, a nice re staurant.

Loved the terrace seating under the trees. It felt so relaxed and was just right for a long, chatty lunch with friends. The village view is lovely. A really nice spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years. The square tables under the trees are the best spot in summer, you can watch the fountain. They do a few good open sandwiches, hot or cold. Service is always polite.

Very fine restaurant. Great setting, lovely view, tasteful modern interior. Ask for window seat if possible. Food was delicious. Well constructed courses, intentional flavours, clear devotion to representing seasonal and regional ingredients. Flow of dishes was seamless without losing the uniqueness of each one. Service was outstanding. The waitstaff is easily at 2 star level, and paid attention to details which usually only exist at the 3 star level. Overall, this restaurant is well deserving of its recent accolades, and is outperforming at the current price point. Do not hesitate to book if possible.

We adored the gorgeous terrace and charming ambiance of this local favorite restaurant.  Our waiter was so perfect, with attention to detail and his elegant service.  The food is excellent. We can highly recommend this one.  We were a group of 8, and we sat at a hand crafted artisan mosaic table with comfortable seats.
