The Murgh Mango was the star for me. That chicken tikka with the sweet mango and crunchy almonds? So good, I'm already thinking about my next order.

The staff were really on it, topping up water and wine before you even noticed. Great vibe. The food was spot on, and the house red they suggested went perfectly with the lamb. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Food is cooked fresh to order here. You can taste the quality difference compared to other fast-food spots.

Stayed a few nights and the room was spotless and really quiet. The bed was so comfy, and I loved having a proper tea tray to make a cuppa in the morning. Felt like a good deal for the price.

The pork with crispy crackling is a must-try. Generous portions and perfectly cooked for a Sunday lunch.

The staff were brilliant with our big group, really helpful and even gave us tips on where to go for a drink later. Made the whole evening so much easier.

Busy, casual place. The tom yum soup is the real deal, really packs a punch and warms you right up. That's the one to get.

Service was really nice. They were friendly and quick, but didn't feel rushed. Just a good, easy vibe.

Service was on point. We ended up ordering six tacos because the choices were all so tempting. The chorizo enchiladas were the highlight for me – they just fell apart. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The decaf coffee here is freshly ground, not bitter at all. I'm pretty picky about that. For £3.50, it's a solid cup. Most places just serve that stale, burnt-tasting stuff. This one's actually good.

The spicy seafood ramen is a solid choice, really hits the spot. The place always has a good buzz and music, perfect for catching up with mates. Just wish the tables weren't so close together, makes it a bit tricky to chat.

Sat at the bar and had the grilled halibut. The wine list had a few interesting local whites that paired really well with it.

Best wrap I've had. They actually wrap it properly so it doesn't fall apart. Partner's mixed kebab was good too.

Loved the mussel and asparagus risotto here. It was creamy but the asparagus still had a nice bite to it. A proper Sicilian spot, service was quick too.

Been a few times now, the food's always fresh and spot on. Cocktail list is extensive, which I appreciate. Had a nice Old Fashioned that paired well with the steak. Bit on the pricey side for drinks, but they're well made.

Lovely spot by the water. I was drawn to the weekday 5-course menu. The ingredients felt really fresh, especially in the seafood starter. A nice, balanced meal.

The team here is on point. Jamie and Dylan were brilliant, really knew their stuff. They suggested a fantastic local red to go with the steak, spot on pairing. Made the whole evening.

Came for the Sunday roast. The lamb was really tasty, and the Yorkshire pudding was great. Portions are generous, you definitely won't leave hungry. A bit on the pricier side for a roast, but you get what you pay for in terms of size.

The pub’s under new management and it shows. Had a decent, hearty meal here last week—good value for the portion. The atmosphere was pretty nice, though service was a touch slow.

Came by for a late lunch. The view is really nice, right by the water. It's a bit quieter than the main strip, which was good. Had the fish and chips, it was solid. A decent spot if you want to avoid the crowds.

Came for the weekend breakfast. The mushrooms on toast were really tasty, I used the sourdough to get all the sauce. For what you get, the portion felt a bit small for the price though.

Been coming here for years. It's the consistency I love - that warm, cosy vibe never changes. You can always count on it for a quiet coffee and a proper chat with the staff. Just a really nice local spot.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. They had a nice selection of local ales on tap, which was a pleasant surprise.

Been coming here for years. Still the best chicken tikka masala in town, just as good as the first time.

Really solid Thai spot in Newcastle. The green curry had the perfect level of heat, and the portion was generous for the price.

Came back for a second visit, and the food is still lovely. The staff are friendly too. But I did notice the portion sizes for the main courses seem a bit smaller than last time. Still tasty, just something to note if you're hungry.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening really relaxed. They were happy to explain the menu and didn’t rush us at all. It’s nice when service feels genuine and not just a routine.
