Laura’s place. She’s the owner. Really friendly, made us feel at home. Even handled a special request without any fuss. Just a nice, welcoming vibe.

Love the big windows and all the plants here. It's a really calm space to sit and enjoy a pastry. The orange hazelnut one was delicious, and my London Fog latte was so smooth. Just a nice, quiet spot.

The staff really knew their stuff when it came to dietary needs. I mentioned a gluten sensitivity, and the server walked me through the whole menu, pointing out what was safe and what could be modified. That kind of attention made ordering a breeze.

The menu's on the smaller side, but that's fine. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly, tender with a nice char. The wine list had some interesting local options I hadn't tried before.

Tucked away on Whidbey Island, this French spot is a real find. The clams and mussels were spot on, with broths you'll want to soak up with bread. Finished with their hazelnut mousse. Their wine list had some nice, lesser-known French options that paired beautifully with the seafood.

The bartenders are so friendly, and the drinks are just right. Perfect spot to hang with friends after work.
