The 16oz rump steak was huge, easily enough for two. Chips were good, peppercorn sauce was fine. For the price, the portion size is what you're really paying for.

The mocha was just right, not too sweet. The chocolate cake was dense and rich, a proper slice. Good spot after a walk.

The pork belly was incredible. Perfectly crisp skin, tender meat underneath. The sauce had a nice sweet and savoury balance. A bit on the pricy side, but the quality is there. That's the main thing for me.

Loved the beer garden here! Perfect spot to catch up with friends when the sun's out. The staff were really helpful too, which made our little group feel welcome. A friendly place for a relaxed afternoon.

Cosy spot with a real fire. The bar's small but they're quick, got my pint in no time. Perfect for a swift one after work. The heated bit outside looked nice too, might try that next time.

Been here a few times with the family. The food is solid, they do a good job with the spice levels - you can get anything from mild to properly hot. Nice atmosphere for a family meal.

Came for a special dinner. The curries were thick and flavourful, and the naan was soft. Portions were decent for the price, which was a relief. The staff were friendly too.

The new owners have freshened up the decor nicely. Those casual sofas are a great touch, really makes the place feel cozy and relaxed. Good spot to unwind.

Been to a few Indian spots, but this one’s different. The chicken tikka masala had this slow-cooked depth I haven’t found anywhere else. Really hit the spot.

The pate starter had a really good texture, coarse but smooth, and the chutney it came with cut through the richness nicely. The fish cake for main was packed with salmon, not just potato. Portions were decent for the price.

The staff were so warm and welcoming. They handled our big group and all our dietary needs without a fuss.

Cosy little family-run place. The menu's massive, had a tough time choosing! Ended up with the chocolate torte for dessert - that was the highlight for me. Staff were dead friendly.

Stopped by the cafe downstairs a few times. The lasagne was spot on – rich, with a proper bechamel. My small breakfast was simple but done right. Nice that they let you bring the dog in the front area.

Been coming here for years with our dog, and the staff are always so welcoming. It's a nice spot for a family meal.

Great food and efficient and pleasant service. We got the window seat we requested and had a lovely meal. I'd recommend this venue.

We were a group of eight and the staff was so calm and organised. It made the whole evening feel relaxed. The desserts were a lovely finish, especially the chocolate torte.

Been coming here for years, the food's always spot on. Love the cosy vibe, feels like a proper neighbourhood spot.

Proper little backstreet local, exactly what you want. Cozy, friendly vibe and they're happy to have dogs in. The jukebox is a great touch, had a good laugh picking tunes. Just a really nice, unpretentious spot for a pint.

great food, the starter: meat balls in tomato sauce was amazing!!! pizza as well.

The fish and chips are cooked fresh, which is good. The batter is light and crispy. A solid choice for a quick, reliable meal near the office. Portion size was decent for the price.

The food here is always good. The pasta is cooked just right, the sauce has a nice depth. That's why I keep coming back to this particular location.

Kat was so lovely and attentive, really made us feel welcome. The food took a little while, but you could tell it was all cooked fresh. The salad bar was a nice touch, had a bit of everything.

The sweet potato fries are the star. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, with a nice sprinkle of sea salt. They don't get soggy, even after a while. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice spot for a family lunch. The kids' play area and park are a lifesaver. Had the fish and chips, decent portion. The house white was surprisingly good for a pub wine, crisp and worked well with the meal. A bit noisy, but that's to be expected.

The staff were very attentive to our needs, especially accommodating my gluten intolerance, which made for a pleasant dining experience.

The mixed grill platter was pretty good. The meats were all juicy and well-seasoned. The rice and bulgur it came with were a nice touch. A solid choice if you're in the mood for that sort of thing.
